Blackadder Brewing Company — Restaurant in Gainesville

This is without a doubt our favorite brewery in Gainesville. When we moved away it was easily what we were going to miss most - and now we're coming back and could not be more excited to hang in one of the friendliest and most welcoming breweries I've ever been too.

Both Chris and Sissy do a great job of remembering regulars and welcoming new comers (and even when they're not in the other bartenders are always friendly and helpful). Not only that, the beer is delicious with their own selections being great and the rotating taps offering something new for just about anyone.

We can't wait to get back, and if anyone is looking for an example of the awesome craft beer culture of Gainesville, look no further.

Ambiance : 5 I love the layout. Spacious with tables and a long bar that can accommodate large and small groups. They played great music and had games available.

Food/Drink 5/5 Only did drinks and some pretzel snacks. The beer selection was awesome. I am a Belgian beer snob. A SUPERIOR selection of this variety. I tried four that were all great.

Service : 5/5 Ashley our bar tender was great. She was knowledgeable and attentive to servicing us during our stay. A great conversationalist and perfectly suited for the job.

This is a much needed addition to the NW section of Gainesville - it's a lovely warm and intimate pub atmosphere with a terrific selection of their own brews as well as a rotating tap of unique and delicious domestic and international beers. They also always carry a few ciders and wine. There is outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and an inviting tasting room with board games, chess, an original Atari and darts. The central fireplace has comfy stuffed chairs, and there is table seating as well as a beautiful bar. Most evenings they host a food truck for the hungry. The bartenders are all knowledgeable...
