The Abbey at Blackadder — Local services in Gainesville

I hosted a music recital at the Abbey and it was such a success! The space is easy to access (some people enjoyed dropping by other nearby shops after!), plenty of parking, and the overall experience felt “high end” and elegant. The space was set up to accommodate us, was clean, and guests enjoyed access to the Blackadder Brew taps or wine during the event. The bar is beautiful, and the small room adjacent to the bathroom access has comfortable chairs for those needing a quiet moment. The organization of and communication before the event with the owners was a breeze. They are so professional and kind, and also ready to set up more chairs or help when needed. I volunteer at a local nonprofit and we held a multi day event at The Abbey recently. The owners and staff were absolutely amazing! First, they were very accommodating and easy to work with, especially since our event lasted a whole weekend. Next, they were very responsive when we needed to discuss anything and went above and beyond. For example, Our printer temporarily stopped during the event and they even offered the use of their printer if needed. Our guests were very happy with the size and location of the space (short distance from highway and hotels), as well as its proximity to the brewery.
