One of the worst customer service experiences ever. I had a broken screen and my insurer could not locate one in Georgia. I was heading to Florida for a quick bowl game and chose this store over 3 others that had the screen locally. I dropped in the day ahead of my appointment to see if they could get it done and was the day before my appointment. I was there before they opened and was the 1st person when they opened. They were backed up and would take longer than I had time for and the clerk told me if I came in the next day for my noon appointment they would get it done. I asked him to promise me that it would get done the same day if I came in and he said it would. I had other locations I could have gone to and had that happen, but they had my appointment and told me they would get it done the same day. That was a Friday before NYE. I stuck with them and came in the next Friday for my appointment and was told it would not be done and what was more infuriating was the denial that he had ever promised anything. It left me with a ride back to Georgia where there were no screens or to spend the long weekend in Hogtown, Fl. His lack of character and empathy was incredible and his staff was as unempathetic as he was. Again, I was traveling through, could have switched to a store in other locations if he had simply been honest and told me that he could not Guarantee the repair would be completed the same day. They were taking walk in work while making appointments which they would not honor or prioritize over walk ins. He had to know the workload he was facing would not be met by his staffing and yet promised what he had no chance of delivering on just the very next day when my original appointment had been made for. I had made my situation very clear to him and his last statement on that Thursday the day ahead of my appointment was that he would get it done the same day if I brought it in at noon on Friday. I did that and he had sudden onset amnesia when I asked to make sure he would get it done same day as promised. that was never going to happen is how he responded as I stood there and again looked him in the eye and asked him if he had not promised me that just the the day before while we both stood right there and had the same conversation. Just understand how little you can trust a manager that has chronic understaffing and zero character for doing the right thing when making promises and then chooses to deny and lie about those promises they made when they will not make...
Read moreTLDR; I paid for diagnostics and the technicians refused to tell me the diagnosis. They wanted to charge me for something I could do for free from home. The employees in the back were rude and spoke bad about me. UbreakiFix relies on being disingenuous about what repairs they are doing and overcharging for simple services.
I brought my laptop in because a program I had to download changed some settings on my computer that removed some administrative privileges from my account. I paid for diagnostics, and 5 days later I received a call from a technician named Orlando who said that it would be $99 to solve the problem. His words were that the program I had downloaded "changed the code on Windows." I asked him to explain it in technical terms, and he only repeated what he already said. I asked if it was a problem in the Windows registry, and he said yes. I declined repairs and told him I wanted to pick up my laptop, to which he said, "The program is already running. I can't stop it." I told him, "I'm not going to pay for something I don't want." He finally obliged, and I came to the store to pick up my computer. At the store, I asked if I could know which registry keys were messed up. The man at the front was very nice, but told me that he could not share that information. I asked to see exactly where in the terms and conditions it stated that I could not know the details of my diagnosis, so he went to the back to talk to the technicians. I could hear a woman in the back talking very unprofessionally about the situation, though I could not make out every word because of her accent. The man brought Orlando to the front, who told me which type of registry keys needed to be changed. I thanked them and left.
When I got home, I found that the problem had been solved. This means that they were going to charge me for a repair they had already made but that I had not yet consented to.
Throughout this process, the employees kept trying to upsell some sort of $26 plan instead of focusing on my repair. They did not explain this plan very well, so I have no idea if it's a subscription or a one time payment. And when I dropped off my laptop, I was told that if they ended up having to reinstall Windows, I would be charged $100. That process is something that is completely free (and easy) to do from home. That price is a scam. I will not be going back and do not recommend going here if you know anything...

If you live in the Gainesville, FL area, I recommend taking your device literally anywhere else to get repaired. I wish I would have gone to GatorTech and payed slightly more and avoided the chaos that was UbreakIfix on Archer road.
I took my computer in around the middle of October because the screen turned purple and stopped working. I was originally told it would take 2 weeks to a month to complete the repair. I called two weeks later to check how the progress was going, and they told me they hadn't even ordered the part yet. They said I had to come in and pay for half of the part before it could be ordered. I'm not sure why no one called to tell me that or why I couldn't pay for it when I dropped the device off. My computer just sat there for two weeks.
Another month passed (without any updates unless I called to see how things were going) and I finally went back to get my laptop. I take my laptop home and the Touch Bar no longer works...no one told me it wasn't working or explained why...they just sent me home with a broken laptop. So I take the laptop back to get fixed and they tell me that this sometimes happens with these repairs and that they'll order a new screen to try the repair again.
Another month passes. They say the second screen also caused the Touch Bar to not work, so they are going to order a "better quality" screen and try again. It will take 2 weeks for the new screen to come in.
2 weeks later and they have a "better quality" screen on my MacBook and the Touch Bar works. It is now January and this repair took around 3 months. The Touch Bar also works significantly worse than it did previously. When I took my computer in for a repair, the Touch Bar worked perfectly. Now, it barely works and is not sensitive to touch so I have to really push my finger on it. It's quite annoying considering how much I payed to get my laptop working again.
3 months and a couple hundred dollars later and I am extremely dissatisfied with the results, customer service, and entire experience with UbreakIfix.
I should also note that I signed up for the monthly Asurion Plus Care program so that I could receive $70 off my repair....I ended up being charged for that for four months, so it was more expensive. I was never offered a discount, refund, or any type of compensation for the poor job that was done.
Do not take your...
