I brought my 2015 Ford C-Max hybrid into Yemm for an oil change and tire rotation. When I came back to pick up my car they told me they were unable to rotate my tires because the lugnuts were swollen. Fords are known for that and all they have to do is take a 19 mm socket and put it on to get the lug nuts off they rounded off my lug nuts on my tire and wanted to charge me for it to put new lug nuts on which I did not need to do. Now though because they rounded them off with the wrong size socket well that was just the beginning of my problems couple days later I decided to check my oil I figured they were so incompetent they couldn't even take a lug nut off without Destroying it I'm sure glad I did check my oil they had it over full by about a quart and a half. When I took my car back in to have them adjusted the issue supposedly they fix the issue well when I checked my oil it was where was supposed to be. A short time later I drove to the quad cities to visit family and when I got back to Galesburg I noticed there was a puddle of oil underneath my car so I checked the oil dipstick and there was no oil on the dipstick whatsoever. I bought my car at billion Auto Honda in Iowa City I'm so glad I took an extended warranty on the car when I bought it it only had 71000 miles on it. So I called my warranty company they told me to have it towed to a Ford dealership which I did here in Galesburg it took me two weeks to get my car in and I had asked him if they would give me a loaner vehicle while mine was in the shop being worked on because this was on them they refused so for two weeks I had no vehicle to drive. When they finally got it in they gave me a call and said my car was ready to be picked up. When I got to Galesburg Ford dealership they told me that the mechanic at Yemm had poked a hole in my oil filter when he went to adjust it from being over full. And that they had ran diagnostic tests on it to see what damage had been done to the motor and as far as they could tell the computers were telling them that everything was okay but if I had any issues down the road that they would be responsible for any damage that occurred to my engine because of their Mechanic's neglect. And that there was no bill because Yemm paid for the oil change that they had done at Ford and the diagnostic tests. Well one oil change later my car is making vibration noises only when the generator engine that uses oil is running because it is hybrid that it never made before and I have less than sixteen thousand miles left on my extended warranty so I went to Yemm and told them what was going on with my car and told them that because of their mechanics neglect that my car is having issues and would they please work something out with me on a different vehicle my 2015 Ford C-Max it's completely paid for and I told them that I don't want to make a bunch of car payments now because this was supposed to be my last car I'm 60 years old these 2015 Ford C-Max have up to 300,000 to 400,000 mi life expectancy. So they spoke with Mr. Yemm and they came back with I would have to prove it. If you are an honest businessman I shouldn't have to prove anyting but I do have the paperwork that shows that you paid for the bill that your mechanic caused all my problems. well there's your proof sir. Anybody that's got half a brain or any mechanical skills knows that if you drive a vehicle from Galesburg Illinois to the quad cities and back to Galesburg and the whole time you're motors pumping oil out of the oil filter because of your mechanics neglect knows down the road the engine's going to fail and it is going to be weakened. I gave you every opportunity rectify the situation and you tried to sweep it under the carpet shame on you Yemm. Enclosing my review if you want to buy a new car I can't think of a better place to do business with than Yemm but if you want to have a mechanic look at your car at Yemm run run run...

Read moreI purchased a used Chrysler Pacifica at another dealership in town. Needing repairs, I scheduled an appointment at Yemm as they have certified Chrysler mechanics. The lift gate was not closing and there is a clicking noise coming from the dash of my van. After looking over the van, they called to tell us we need new sensors in our lift gate and that there was no clicking that they could find. Shocked that they told us there was no clicking, my husband and I go to pick up the van and present to the front desk lady the clicking noise that we were complaining about. She goes on to tell us that now there is a clicking but it’s not a problem. So after basically making us feel like we’re crazy and there was no clicking. Now there is a clicking but the codes came back ok. We were charged $130 for no solution and to just live with this clicking noise in the dashboard. They attempted to repair the lift gate at another appointment as we had to wait for sensors to arrive. Now we return to pick up the van for the second time, pay over $600 for these sensors/labor and before even leaving the parking lot, the lift gate does not close. I return to the front desk and tell her the issue is not fixed just to find out another part has to be ordered. The service manager had to be called to explain what was happening because there was no communication between any one clearly. Although we appreciate the continued work to fix the lift gate, if I hadn’t checked before I left, I would have been left at home with no answers! Would any one have even called to tell me another part had to be ordered? So after all that, I’ve paid in total about $900 for them to tell me I’m crazy and hearing things and to not fix any of the issues my van has been having. As I write this, I have been waiting over a week for someone to call and tell me if the part has arrived or not. We will not be returning to Yemm for any future service on the Pacifica. I would rather drive out of town to spend my money than be treated like an...
