Terrible. I was racially profiled by one of the security guards. I had just gotten out of school and had my backpack with me. As soon as I entered the store, I was immediately met with an angry security guard who pointed at a sign “No big bags allowed”. He told me to get out without even letting me explain my situation. My mother was in the store shopping while waiting for me to get out of school, all I needed was to get her car keys so I could wait in the car since I hate the smell of this store (it just reeks of fish). I left the store without even being able to say my piece or explain that I wasn’t even going to buy anything and just needed to meet with my mom. I left the store without a word and waited outside until my mom came to my rescue with her car keys and let me wait in her car while she continued shopping. Now, someone explain to me why I got kicked out, but yet an elderly Asian lady with an even bigger bag than mine was allowed to enter? Even some Asian guy from my school was allowed to enter. His backpack was WAY bigger than mine!! But he was allowed to shop with no questions asked! This was so ridiculous. I felt hurt and all because they took one look at my skin color and decided to kick me out. So in short, if you want to shop here, go ahead. But let me just say that you’ll probably regret it. The store reeks of fish and don’t even bother getting “fresh” meat or fish there because the service is horrendous. You’ll be waiting an hour or two for 1 fish. The store itself is so unbelievably messy and disgusting. Shop somewhere else, anywhere but here. The quality of their products is just as horrible as...
Read moreThis place has the worst customer service ever. Their return policy is garbage. My family and I went to get a new bag of rice 2021 crop. So we were excited that when we got there, there were some bags of SunLee 2021 rice. We bought two, but after we purchased before we even stepped foot out of the door, I noticed that the bag of rice said 2020 and 2021 on opposite sides. Upon further investigation, I noticed that the 1 in 2021 was actually a sticker, deceptively placed over the 2020 printed on the bag. When we went back to the cash register to ask for a refund because we wanted the 2021 New crop rice, they first refused and accused us of trying to get money from them and that we were being shady. The disrespect they had. Then they showed us some flyer that said it was from the SunLee company saying that they were using old 2020 bags but the grain was 2021 crop...and it wasnt signed by anyone at the company....Honestly a 3rd grader could have made a similar flyer. It didnt look official at all. Anyway after making us wait for about 20 minutes, they finally agreed to offer us a refund...but even now 5 days later, I havent seen the refund in my transactions....soo I feel ripped off and that they took about $75 from my family...
TLDR. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. BAD RETURN POLICY. SHADY. GET YOUR GROCERIES SOMEWHERE ELSE. BE WARY WHEN BUYING NEW CROP RICE. TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND SHOP AT PLACES...
Read moreĐà Lạt Supermarket is a solid choice if you’re looking for a Vietnamese grocery store with a great selection. They offer a decent variety of items, and you can find most Vietnamese products here, from fresh produce to pantry staples. The vegetables are fresh, and the store is well-stocked with everything you’d expect from a Vietnamese market—fish sauce, rice noodles, herbs, and specialty snacks. The prices are reasonable, making it a good spot for budget-friendly shopping. Parking is also easy to find, which is a big plus compared to some other grocery stores in the area. However, the store itself is a bit old, and I usually go to other Vietnamese markets for meat and seafood since the selection here doesn’t quite meet my expectations. Another downside is that you might occasionally encounter an unfriendly cashier, which can be frustrating at times. Overall, Đà Lạt Supermarket is a convenient and reliable place to shop for Vietnamese ingredients, especially for fresh produce and pantry essentials. It’s worth a visit for its variety and...
