My grandma is a very avid lover of Khols so when I was trying to think of a place to shop for a nice dress for my one year anniversary last night, that was the place to come to mind. I was in there looking at dresses and women's sizes are all different so I didn't know what would fit. We had reservations in an hour so I threw a dress over my clothes to see if it would work (it honestly was adorable and had to buy it) but the lady working over there was extremely rude. She walked up way too close and yelled at me saying I can't try things on. I don't shop at Khols and didn't know their rules and would gladly follow them but the manner in which she approached me and then proceeded to stand over me while I take it off (I'm 4'7 1/2 so she was very intimidating) was just so unacceptable. I was so angry at this encounter but I didn't wanna ruin our anniversary so I left in a hurry. I work in a restaurant so I know tensions are high but if she reacted that way because she was worried about covid she wouldn't have gotten that close to tower over me and scold me like a child. I'm 24 and do not wish to be treated like a child just because of my size. My boyfriend has only seen me that angry one other time in the year we have been dating in case that gives you any indication of how rude this interaction was. I will not be returning to this location ever again and if the manager would like to discuss this issue with me further, I would be more than happy to speak with them.
UPDATE: No one has attempted to contact me still about this incident and it just goes to show that management does not care. Very unfortunate because there was an opportunity for a meaningful conversation about how to improve the customer service at this location and to potentially win...
Read moreAt 9:52 pm I told the staff at the registers that I was going to run to grab my wallet and will be right back and the girl with the purple pinkish long hair “Annie” snarled at me and said “ok you better be back in 5 minutes or you will be locked out…”I was parked right out the front and back in under a minute. She still uttered comments under her breath. I get they close at 10pm hence why we made sure we were set to go and she is lucky I decided to let my boyfriend check out because she was about to get a mouthful. Your employee needs to be reminded that it’s not professional to be rude to customers that are about to spend $500 dollars. We could have been customers that decided not to rush and kept them their way past closing because it is against the law to rush customers who are still inside shopping. We could have just left all the clothing in the fitting rooms but we were kind enough to put them back because we are respectful and I work in retail. She gave us attitudes when we walked in at 9:00pm and basically followed us in the men’s section literally felt like she was purposely getting in the way of us looking for clothes in the men’s Nike and Adidas section. Not sure who pee’d in your cornflakes but do better it’s not hard to stand there and watch tik tok videos while your on the clock working but going out of your way to be rude wasn’t it hope to...
Read moreThe older man at the customer service desk made my whole check out experience uncomfortable. I held up my large item for him to scan and there was no tag. He actually asked me if I removed it myself and then told me to get another one. After, he kept aggressively pushing the kohl's card saying he was trying to do me a favor by saying I'd get $100 off and since I had a debit card to just use that to pay it off. No matter how many times I declined he kept peer pressuring me and made me and my friend uncomfortable. If I didn't need the suitcases I would've just walked out and never shop there again. When I was walking to get the other suitcase, the self check out girl kept eyeing me weirdly like I was doing something wrong. Then while waiting for my receipt the man said, "Well, I'm saving you $60 no matter what you say" and gave me kohl's cash. I don't even feel okay using it. Left kohl's feeling...
