Came out of town, was excited to be buying a switch. First time in gamestop, felt robbed of my purchase. Lady running the counter told me they had a white oled switch left. I told her I was only purchasing that day for the white oled switch. She said "i'm going to ring it out and then go get it" which is where the disaster started. I paid for my time for them TO NOT HAVE IT. Lady comes out with the original switch with the blue and red controllers and tried to hand me that, mind you it wasn't the oled which costs more money for the screen. I pointed it out to her, she told me they didn't have any new oled in stock as i'm standing there and already paid for it. To then sell me a used white oled switch, that i would not have purchased had i been told that from the start. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. First time in gamestop was complete trash and left me with that experience. Switch works which i am happy about but you can tell the controllers have been used as both analog sticks are worn down. Was not worth what i paid and i wanted a new one. Hope the lady running the counter that day learned a very good lesson, do not ring someone out for their purchase until AFTER you confirm you have the product. Read moreTERRIBLE. Everything they have is extremely overpriced, but they buy it so ridiculously cheap there's no reason for it. I gave $240 for a used original Xbox One 1540 (they weren't familiar with model numbers) with no box, which is nearly $100 more than it's worth but I caved for the holidays. (They didn't force me to buy it, I understand that.) Anyhow, I drove 45 minutes home to set it up only to discover two loose AA batteries, of different brands specifically which is arguably bad practice, less efficient, and potentially dangerous. Whatever, I have batteries at home. HOWEVER, it came with a VGA cable rather than an HDMI! I called immediately to address this, and the response was "It should have came with an HDMI" No kidding! Their markup is higher than a hotdog at a ball game, and you'd find better customer service at a vending machine. When trying to finish my transaction we had to move to another register (we were paying with card and cash). After trying it again the card declined I check my card right there in the store and it took the money off the card.
