What a hidden gem right off the highway! Green Meadows Preserve is a beautiful, well-maintained space that’s perfect for walks, jogs, or incorporating into your workout routine. The trails are engaging, with interesting patches to explore, and the area is both people- and dog-friendly. I love seeing the regulars—it gives the place a real sense of community.

There are clean restrooms, plenty of seating spots to take a break, and some delightful surprises like a community garden, a new orchard, and even an apiary for those interested in bees. Informational posts highlight historical landmarks and native plants and flowers throughout the preserve.

Don’t miss the Free Little Library, the community happenings board, and I challenge you to find the hidden free seed bank—it’s a fun little adventure in itself! A must-visit for nature lovers and community-minded...

Surprised by everything I found at what I thought was a little park! Love that there are a lot of branching trail options; this would be a good place to walk a reactive dog and allows for plenty of social distancing. The meadow is very pretty, especially early in the morning. It seems like it would be a very hot/sunny walk in the afternoon as there isn't any shade on the meadow itself. The trails themselves are fairly flat but can be wet, especially in the mowed meadow areas. The disc golf fields were a great spot for my pup to run around a bit since they weren't in use first thing in the AM. Looking forward to all the cool developments they have planned but as it is the park is already...

Our family loves walking here it's peaceful and beautiful. Love seeing the birds and the changes in seasons here. The only thing we ever encountered that people may need to watch for was a baby copperhead about a month ago in the evening. We didn't even see it till it was too late it was under leaves our dog stepped on it and it bit our dogs paw. Gladly our dog was fine after an emergency vet visit. That was the only time we ever encountered something like that here but it's a nature preserve animals live here even if you don't see them they may be around, so now we carry sticks to make sure we don't accidentally step...
