What a hidden gem right off the highway! Green Meadows Preserve is a beautiful, well-maintained space that’s perfect for walks, jogs, or incorporating into your workout routine. The trails are engaging, with interesting patches to explore, and the area is both people- and dog-friendly. I love seeing the regulars—it gives the place a real sense of community.
There are clean restrooms, plenty of seating spots to take a break, and some delightful surprises like a community garden, a new orchard, and even an apiary for those interested in bees. Informational posts highlight historical landmarks and native plants and flowers throughout the preserve.
Don’t miss the Free Little Library, the community happenings board, and I challenge you to find the hidden free seed bank—it’s a fun little adventure in itself! A must-visit for nature lovers and community-minded...

That was the only time we ever encountered something like that here but it's a nature preserve animals live here even if you don't see them they may be around, so now we carry sticks to make sure we don't accidentally step...
