I've visited this shop four times and at each visit I asked for a specific whiskey. First time advised we get deliveries once a month for that so check back. Same thing 2nd and 3rd visit. The day before Christmas I was advised by who appeared to be a manager that it is too hard to get this time of year because of holiday. I called Big Al's in Powder Springs and they had 4 bottles. I called Sherlock's and asked they had just received in 2 cases. Why lie to keep me coming back and then tell me the biggest lie of all on my 4th visit? Fourth and last. I don't like being lied to. If you aren't going to carry a lovely brand then just say it up front. No the same man told me a lie to keep me coming back. Makes no sense because it's easy enough to discern the truth and now you have lost what would have been a great customer. Big Al thanks you very much because he has a customer for as long as I am...
Read moreWhen this place first opened I asked one of the owners (Mike) if he could get some difficult to obtain Chinese Baijiu liquors. I brought him a bottle of what I wanted and he gave it a look and said he'd get back to me. I came back less than ten days later and he had FOUR grades of it and all very reasonably priced!!! I am in this place all the time for wines, brandies, cigars and rare spirits. The entire staff - I mean EVERYONE that works here - are friendly and very helpful. That this place is 2 blocks from my subdivision doesn't hurt but I switched my business from a place I had been going to for 8 years to this one because of all the positives! They have just about everything. And what they don't have they can get if you ask them to order it. I am very impressed with these people and they have won my business here...
Read moreThe kid that runs this store seems to have a huge ego problem, probably since daddy spent a million plus to build this store for him. When asked about products or deals other stores have that he doesn't his response is to "blame the customer", and "you don't know how the business works". Which is laughable since anyone in Georgia who shops for harder to get products knows a good bit about the allocation side of the industry. Many stores in the area have the incredible Benchmark series deal going, but he says "he won't do that to his store".. I guess good values for customers aren't part of his business model. Shop elsewhere for a...
