I'm a regular at this location but the past few times I've come I've ordered through the app because I live 20 minutes away so it's easier to order there and then just walk in and grab my food and go. But the past few times I've done this I've had to wait 15-20 minutes past the time I put for the order. My sandwich was all wrong too, and I didn't notice it before I arrived home. I had asked for no onion or tomato and added avocado for $1 extra. There was onion and tomato on it and no avocado!
I placed an order at this location today too. I placed the order at 1:42 pm and wanted it ready for pickup at 4pm. That's 2 hours and 17 minutes away, they have plenty of time to make two whole salads, half a sandwich and half a salad, but it wasn't even ready to be picked up at 4:20 pm. So I walked up to the cashier and explained that I placed an order on my phone at 1:42 and it was supposed to be ready for pickup at 4 but still wasn't on the pickup shelf. We walked over to the cooks and it turned out the bag was on the counter where people dining in pickup their food, and the name on the bag was facing them. The reason it wasn't on the shelf?
They were out of the side items I wanted.
They could have circled them and said on the receipt on the bag "see manager", they have done that before, but didn't even try to tell me until I had asked about it.
The food always tastes good when it is right though. Just be careful of your wait time in case there is something that they're out of if you place a rapid order on your phone, you may end up waiting 20 minutes until you ask about your food.
Edit: We opened our food around 6:30 and one salad had no dressing and another salad was supposed to be whole but had less in it than the other whole salad we had. It also was supposed to come with some cashews/almonds but there were...
Read moreThis was the worse experience I've ever had at Panera... I'm very disappointed because I've come to expect spectacular service every time I visit. When I walked in the young man who was preparing food was deep in conversation with someone who was lying all over the counter. The conversation continued as I went to the restroom, came back and ordered my food, then waited for my food to be prepared. When I opened my bag I noticed that I had 2 bags of chips instead of the yummy baguettes that I prefer. I asked the young man if the soup came with bread and he told me that I had chips, but if I wanted bread he would give it to me. (The guy who took my order didn't ask me if I wanted chips or Bread with either of the Pick 2s that I ordered). As I reached into the bag to give him back the chips he picked up bread from behind the counter and told me that I had to give him back the chips. I thought mistakenly that it would be a hand to hand exchange...not so. THIS DUDE PUT MY BREAD ON THE COUNTER!!!! The same counter that his friend was just lying on with his hair spread over it. As I stared at him in disbelief he thought to ask me if I wanted the bread in a bag. I frowned and slowly said yes and he picked up a bag and started opening it as he reached for the bread he had just dropped on the counter. I interrupted him and said, "but I want some different bread. You just put that on the dirty counter." He obliged me, but simply put the bread I rejected back in his container behind the counter. I am absolutely certain that the next customer got that dirty bread. Geez, Panera! Do you not teach your staff about cleanliness and...
Read moreLet me start by saying that every diner’s experience at this restaurant will vary, but here’s my honest take.
Pros:
• Convenient location: This spot is close to several other shops and restaurants, making it a handy stop if you’re out and about.
Cons:
• Small food portions • Worn-out furniture • Lack of cleanliness • Subpar food quality
Portions: I ordered the chicken noodle soup, and while the bowl was a decent size, it was only half-filled. For the price, I expected more than just a few spoonfuls of chicken, noodles, and vegetables, with the rest being mostly broth. You could easily serve a more balanced portion.
Furniture: The seating area needs attention. The chairs had peeling cushions, and some of the tables had marker scribbles on them. It left a poor impression, as it suggests the restaurant isn’t prioritizing maintenance.
Cleanliness: I had to switch tables because the first one was sticky. Unfortunately, the second one was just as bad. The surfaces felt like they had years of buildup and hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. If these are wood tables, they could definitely use a deep clean to bring them back to their original state.
Food Quality: While I’m not sure if the time of day affects food quality here, it really shouldn’t if the team is managed well. The soup was mediocre, the bread was served cold (I recall it being warm in the past), and the cookie tasted stale, like it had been sitting out all day.
Final Thoughts: I finished the meal, but for a company that promotes high-quality ingredients, this location falls short of that mission. Your experience may differ, but I probably won’t...
