When my son became engaged on 2022, the bride's mom and I decided we would have found our MOB and MOG dresses by May 2023 and while she found her's, I wasn't so lucky. I had a vision in my head of what i wanted to look like on my son's special day, but couldn't articulate in words. I went to all the big box stores, nothing that said "take me home" and at most bridal shops, you needed an appointment. When I called Encore Formals and Bridal, the voice on the other line was inviting and welcoming. I didn't need an "appt" to come into her shop. On the day I met Ms. Kathy, it felt as if I had known her all my life. I showed her the picture of the prospective dress and low and behold she had it in black, I needed a color in the purple family. The moment I put on the dress, I knew I had finally found my dress. Ms. Kathy went to work on finding my dress in the color I needed for the wedding. She reached out to all her contacts and searched high and low and found the dress in San Francisco. There was a problem with shipping and the dress was not delivered until almost end of Aug. With alterations needing to be done, I felt a little stressed if it would be ready for Oct 6th wedding. Again Ms. Kathy put on her super woman cape and along with the best seamstress in the world, the dress was ready on Sept 23rd. It was a very happy day! I said all of that to say, if you want an experience of a lifetime, if you want to be surrounded by people who love what they do and love the business they have chosen, if you want someone to go to bat for you to ensure your visions become reality, then Encore Formals and Bridal, Ms. Kathy and her team are THE BEST HANDS DOWN. YOU WILL ONLY REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T SHOP HERE FIRST. Words can't express what I felt when my son said "Mom, you are beautiful" on his special day. I chose to go look at dresses at Encore Formals and Bridal for two reasons. The first reason was because I had seen the really great reviews that Encore Formals and Bridal had, and my second reason was because they had the designer that I had wanted. I had checked with other bridal shops who did not carry Sophia Tolli dresses and I was ecstatic to find out that Encore Formals and Bridals did! They carried the same exact dress that I had looked at for so many years. That dress did not work out for me, however Ms. Kathy was extremely patient with me and she really took the time to get a feel for what I was looking for in a wedding dress. I was overjoyed to be able to find the perfect dress for me and it only took me one stop, at one store, on one day. I got the wedding dress of my dreams that fits me like a glove. Every single person that I dealt with at Encore Formals and Bridal were so very nice and so very helpful. Although my dress fit me like a glove for the most part, I still had to have it taken up a lot due to the fact that I am so short. I decided that since I had such an amazing experience with everyone at Encore so far that I would have my dress taken up there as well. Margarita made the dress altering experience such a breeze. I had to have several inches taken off of my very detailed dress. Margarita did such a beautiful job with everything that she did and when I went in for my second (which was also my last) dress fitting the dress fit me like a glove like it was made for me. You could not even tell that so much had to be taken up. Margarita even surprised me with a triple French bustle in which I found to be absolutely stunning, it took my breath away. I cannot thank Ms. Kathy, Margarita and everyone else at Encore Formals & Bridal enough for all of their help and hard work they put into making this a very memorable and wonderful experience....

WOW! My experience here was truly amazing. My sister got married in the summer of 2015 and got her dress from here and she also had a wonderful experience. We actually left from there to go to David's Bridal since she already had the appointment booked. After 10 minutes we came straight back to purchase the dress from Encore. I just got engaged in August of 2015 and am getting married next summer. Of course I made an appointment at Encore and another place in Atlanta for the next day. My experience at Encore was truly amazing. Kathy immediately greeted me, my sister, mother and grandmother like she had known us for years! She remembered my sister too and she was so excited to see pictures from her wedding. I found the most stunning gown that night but like my sister, had an appointment booked the next day at another place which I felt I needed to follow through and show up for. I immediately called Kathy as soon as I left that place and came by later that day with my mom to purchase my wedding gown at Encore! Overall, it blew every place out of the water me and my sister had gone to! I truly felt like I was the only bride in the world trying on gowns and that's how it should feel. I wasn't rushed. I wasn't pressured. It was just wonderful! Kathy's alterations specialist, Julia, is awesome too! Always so friendly and helpful!...
