Griswold Street Antiques — Attraction in Glastonbury

Best antique store I’ve seen in a long time. So many beautiful items, I could spend the day looking around. You name it he has it! To top it off it everything is actually affordable. The prices aren’t jacked up at all. I bought a beautiful and unique sterling silver ring with turquoise stones for $18. We also bought an amazingly cool rocking chair for only $25. I can’t explain the style of it, but it’s so cool. I’ve never seen anything like it before (and I’m not into rocking chairs). You’re welcomed in and not bothered, but if you have any questions you're answered with a smile. The quality of all items are top notch, and no one else will have it! This place is like every antique store. Many dealers who band together to make it work. Extremely knowledgeable antiques who know the value of what they sell. You do have to look around because each section is run by a different dealer. Kitschy mid century stuff tends to be on the second floor with more expensive items on the first.
