If I could give zero stars I would have, that is how terrible my experience was. I walked in and the girl there went and got a young man from the back. He walked over, didn't say anything and just stood by me. I showed him my phone and that someone was obviously very wrong - he hit a button to download something that I had been avoiding and BAM my phone immediately went into like a jailbreak mode. I asked him why he did that and what it meant and he had no idea, acted as though I did it (while me and my daughter watched him click the button!) He was SOOO incredibly rude, this was always my go to location but I assure you I will never be back. I finally decided on the phone I was getting after he told me what was in stock. (3 total samsung phones to choose from.....) He walks out of the back with the S24 saying that was the only one available. NOT what he said 2 minutes earlier so I had enough. I walked out, I couldn't take the disrespect anymore. I was not rude, I stayed polite and he didn't care. He had me in the absolute worse mood when I had walked out of there. Thankfully Wheaton was a dream to deal with, I will just go there from now on which is much further than I'd like but absolutely worth it to avoid ever running into this kid again. AT&T get it together and remove this kid from the store before you lose even more business! Happy to give my sales to the wonderful man at Wheaton. He was so nice he noticed I was overpaying on insurance and I walked out with the new Samsung 24 (which i had NO intentions of purchasing) Crazy what a kind soul can...
Read moreMy phone was stolen right before we came into the store. I was in tears and sobbing. My teenage son was with me and speaking on my behalf because I was so upset. Sebastian immediately greeted us and treated me with dignity even though I was visibly upset. Another mother there with her teenage son was working with another employee. She heard my son tell Sebastian about my phone being stolen. She offered to give me her OWN old phone since she was getting a new one just then! đŻ I was extremely grateful for that and the service from Sebastian which followed. He was kind to me and offered me tissues and water. Then he calmly guided me to figuring out how to disable/report stolen my phone. He was amazing and so patient. Those employees stayed cool and collected even when I was upset. I appreciate the service they gave so much! They also worked together to quickly set up my newly donated phone and I left the store feeling like a miracle had just happened đ¤
P.S. Hand sanitizer and masks were present and accounted for ... Sebastian even refused my handshake but offered a fist bump as an...
Read moreI wasn't even going to write a review from my experience at the AT&T store however I was notified that AT&T replied to my review on Google. But I never wrote a review!
When I was getting my new phone activated a worker was helping me get all of my data transfered. He was holding my phone for most of the process, as you would expect. However he chose to go into my apps, find Google maps, and post a review!? The Google account is, obviously linked to my full name, this is borderline identity theft. He also did this on my husband's phone!
This is completely inappropriate and a total breach of privacy. It raises many red flags. What else did he look at while he was "helping" me. I needed help resetting a password and he took it upon himself to temporarily change my password instead of letting me change it. Who knows what he was able to do or get access to before I was able to change it back.
This behavior is disgusting unprofessional and I sincerely hope this employee is reprimanded. We just switched our service to AT&T, what an awful...
