I am writing this review because of one reason which is that the lash tech Freya is so insistent and hostile on making you tip her that it makes the customer feel VERY uncomfortable. I had came here because I saw an ad and decided to try it out since all the reviews said that Freya was great and did an amazing job WHICH SHE DID/DOES my lashes looked great the retention they had was not terrible but just okay, so I ditched my old lash lady to make her my new go to (since I keep up with my fills every 2 weeks). What I didnāt like was that the last two times I tried to make an appointment it was very annoying because she scheduled me for a time and a day before she cancelled because she forgot she had already booked someone at that time, so I said okay fine Iāll book for the following day, but when I did I would have to be charged for the 3 week fill price which I wouldnāt have mind if it were MY mistake but she made the error of scheduling me so there should have been an exception there. Fast fwd to this appointment that I was forced to reschedule, I arrive and ask to do my lashes more full and she said no. When I finished I felt that she was being rude so when I went to pay I put NO tip, due to the inconvenience of rescheduling/having to pay more for a mistake I was not responsible for AND for not getting a fuller set as requested and she simply told me that I did not tip her. I explained to her that I was aware of that and that I didnāt want to include a tip and she insisted that I add her Zelle so I can send her a tip there. She did not let me pay for my services until she seen that I had sent her a tip so I insisted that I go to my car after I pay and give her a cash tip. It wasnāt then until she let me pay. As a customer this is not okay and made me feel very targeted and uncomfortable, not sure if she treats all her customers like this or if she was having a bad day but that shouldnāt be how someone who is selling or doing any type of service should be treating their customers. On top of this, after my 5th visit despite consistently going every two weeks getting FILLS, I was forced to pay the price of a full set. Which makes NO sense at all. What is the purpose of offering fills to customers if your only going to charge them for a full set? It literally defeats the purpose of fills. This is something I believe management should oversee because that is not acceptable. I would have loved to continue to get my lashes done here because the quality with freya is pretty okay! , but unfortunately the way I was harassed to tip made...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATE- I accepted Sumi lash offer to come in for another facial and to be honest the woman who did it was excellent. It was quiet peaceful and my skin feels great. I really hope this will be the standard for many years to come.
UPDATE- got a very kind call from them offering a facial to make up for my experience, apologising for my dis satisfaction. Will keep you updated how that goes!!;Firstly to be fair the place was nice and clean. I purchased a microdermabrasion on Groupon hoping to find a new great place to go to regularly and the price seemed fair.As soon as I walked in, they tried to convince me to get an extra service for 40 dollars more, which I tried to politely refuse several times, then perhaps because their English was not 100 percent, she Said the treatment I purchased was 10 mins instead of the 60 mins advertised. But the thing that got me was in the middle of my facial, the lady walked in with two different masks and said choose one- I presumed it was for the last step. She was about to open it and said- that's an extra 15, which I refused, pretty surprised ( and i have a similar one at home for half the price). I really don't think it's ok to do a marketing play in the middle of something that's supposed to make you feel special and relaxed. Won't be coming here again...
