Motel 6 Glendale, CA – Pasadena Burbank Los Angeles — Hotel in Glendale

This is a brand new Motel 6. It's owned by a wonderful working family who are committed each day to making their inn the best they can. I had a double king room. Excellent beds. Thermostat is amazing and works quickly. The decor of the rooms is very cute with moldings and baseboards that show the antiquity and charm of the former hotel that was here. There are cute balconies for some units. The rooms are very clean. I have a son with half of a heart,HLHS. I also suffer from tumors. The room was sanitary, well stocked, and had a cute red light theme over the beds. TV runs perfectly. The shower pressure is great. This is a classic hotel so only a few minutes for hot water on occasion when the night prior is cold. Cute fridge and coffee maker. As this is new to the Motel 6 family they are in the midst of building the brand. The owners and the GM, Manish Bhakta, and family go above and beyond to fulfill requests. This is a lovely stay. Internet is amazing!! Location? Every shop, grocery store, cafes, bars, restaurants, and both the Americana and Galleria are in walking distance. The high school is around the corner and people are cordial on the street and in shops. I would recommend 9 out of 10 stars if possible. Please remember this is a brand new motel. The owners work endlessly to build the brand. Motel 6 should review this location and upgrade their budget. They have the BEST RATES in rows of hotels in the area. Pet friendly, kid friendly, and the amazing smells of home cooking makes me think the owners should also sell food😁. I enjoyed my stay with my family and will return often. Sid, the primary front desk person at this location, couldn't be more delightful. He goes out of his way to be welcoming and helpful. However, having stayed at this location twice recently, I am of the firm opinion that Sid needs more help in terms of readily available additional staff personnel. While the room was GORGEOUS, the television remote control battery was dead---and getting a replacement took more than an hour. The coffee maker did not work, and could not be replaced until the housekeeper arrived several hours later. There were no blankets available. There is mildew in the ceiling of the bathroom that needs to be attended to. WORST of all, SECONDHAND tobacco SMOKE INFILTRATION into my "non-smoking" room was a CONSTANT and HIGHLY DEBILITATING problem.-----as smokers are permitted to continuously smoke AROUND THE CLOCK in the "smoking patio", parking area AND seated on the stairway ALL WITHIN a FEW FEET of the non-smoking motel rooms.

Also, the rooms are cleaned or treated with a substance that is VERY STRONGLY SCENTED---to the point that I suffered MAJOR sinus inflammation within an hour after arrival. Unfortunately, when I opened the window in an attempt to air out the room, I discovered that it had NO window screen whatsoever.

Based upon this dynamic, as it is currently operated this Motel 6 is NOT a lodging location that is AT ALL workable for people who are Asthmatics, have allergies, or have ANY form of respiratory health / chemical toxin consciousness.

Also, this location seems to attract an early-twenties age group that was unpleasantly noisy into the late...

The owners of the motel runs a good family run motel housekeepers are awesome they are very friendly keeps their rooms excellent clean. Me and my wife had hit hard times an organization helped us out for a little while at this hotel they treated us with upright respect anyone stays here from out of town I will highly recommend this place it's very peaceful and quiet park right down the street not even a 2 minute walk very clean Park Italian restaurant right across the street I recommend a spaghetti and meatballs it's got little off the wall places to eat Ralph's grocery store only 5 minute walk if you're real lucky and get one of the rooms over seeing the school you can watch her free football game like I do the rooms got microwave and refrigerators and a coffee pot if anything comes up the stuff on property is always there for you anytime of the day the people that works here has good hearts may God bless them and hope one day that we can come back and visit from time to time and give them business from Dan and Donna and our service dog Clyde we thank you very very much keep up the good work peace and...
