Talavi Towne Center — Attraction in Glendale

Shopped throughout Walmart at 59th ave/ Bell rd tonight. Mixed reviews for Walmart Staff from 0-4. One employee admitted he could not help but called someone over who was extremely helpful. When I attempted to check out however, I encountered miserable employee after miserable employee. I had almost $700 worth of merchandise and encountered difficulty finding 'assisted check out lanes'. I asked a Walmart employee for aide in finding these rare check out lanes, he was abrupt, borderline rude... when I finally found an assisted lane, she never made eye contact, never smiled, she was visibly perturbed at the amount of items she was forced to ring up and bag... That being said, the Walmart patrons were absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked thru the door I encountered the most helpful friendly people who went above and beyond helping me find gifts for a 2 year old boy I'd selected from the Angel Tree. ❤️ to each and everyone of those people Shame on the...

We walked in one door after parking in handicapped parking, shopped, checked out and as we were loading groceries in cart to head back out to car a gentleman came walking past telling our cashier to tell people that door was now locked and that people had to exit thru other door at opposite end of building. No warning. No consideration for handicapped customers already parked at opposite end who would have to walk completely to other end of building inside to get to leave building, then walk back to other end of building outside in the dark to get to their parked vehicle. And obviously there were no signs indicating this would happen as there were many people parking in handicapped parking at 'wrong' end of building and attempting to enter at closed and locked doors as we were leaving. Inconsiderate and potentially unsafe situation for seniors and parents with young children especially. Will...

It's Dairy Queen so the ice cream was good but the staff..... not even close. You could tell the girl that took my order was new, she was getting yelled at by the "manager" and owner. After making a hot fudge item the manager told her to rung up the next customer. It took so long the ice cream was almost melted by thr time I got my other two items. She dropped one of my wrong sized blizzards on the ground and put the lid back on and tried to give it to me. I had her give me another quicker to make item and we left. I called back to the store and talked to the owner who didn't really seem to care that his manager was rude and unprofessional or that his new employee was so stressed out she couldn't do her job. I wish there was another store close to me I could go to instead of this one. Guess I just don't go...
