Wanted to try this place, can't say I'm going back. Though the service was wonderful and I commend the staff for interacting with my child, the food was lacking, the menu isn't as diverse as you'd expect, and the price isn't justified because of the quality of the food.

My group (2 adults, 1 child) ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl for child, 2 rolls, happy hour sashimi, and salmon roe, and edamame. We got everything we asked for, but the salmon tasted old, the avocado on one of the rolls was sour, and the salmon roe was mostly rice.

For atmosphere, we would frequently smell something foul, as if something was burning.

In comparison to other local sushi restaurants, we paid the a higher price for lower quality food.

Good variety in terms of menu, especially if you're a vegan/vegetarian. They have a few fish-free rolls, such as the Greenie and the Crunchy Veggie. The Brussel sprouts are delicious with a slight crunch on the outside. The spicy edamame has just the right kick in terms of spiciness, and the ample roasted garlic takes it to another level. Another positive on the menu is that the miso soup isn't made with fish broth, but it's just as tasty. The staff is friendly and they get to know their customers. This is a fast casual sushi spot. When I say casual, I mean paper plate, plastic soy sauce cup kind of casual. But the focus should be on the food anyway right?

We had sashimi and some rolls. The fish was fresh and tasty. The fried dishes, like karage and tempura, where light and delicious.
