Went here for memorial weekend (Monday) with some friends. We brought our own portable charcoal grill (since the park did not have any public ones) and we did manage to score a table. If you forgot a grill id go to the safeway less then a mile away and pick up one for about 30 dollars. After the BBQ we took our inflatable tubes over to the river which was REALLY FUN. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and there was no drama in the 9 hours we were there. We had our little speaker and it was a great time. I'd def go and visit again.

I love golden but the firework show this year was so disappointing. Just look at the photo! The city of golden left the giant field lights on and ruined the show for everyone. You can't see hardly anything with the harsh lighting. I'm really questioning the intelligence of golden now. One person mentioned it could be for safety reasons regarding COVID-19 but I saw three cops sitting down as crowds formed to leave the field soo... your safety reasons are invalid. Do better next time golden. We'll go somewhere else next year.

Have been here several times for the walk along the white water creek. Always a fun time. Our kids love walking this path, easy walk as it's paved and there are also steps in several areas down to the creek. The park area is small but clean with several things for kids to climb and 2 swing sets. Highly recommend if you're looking for an easy leisurely walk. Several riders also out but the walkway is plenty wide for all. During Christmas it's beautifully lit up as well. Pics are of summer & winter.

It was an awesome day! I seriously had an awesome time rafting down the river! Water was awesome. Slightly cold for a minute but once ya got a little wet it was just fine. The water level was a little low and a few times I had to get up and walk to a deeper spot. There were several big drops and caused me to capsize once but catching my tube wasn't a problem. Thank God for that because it was a rental. Can't say enough how much fun it was without rose colored glasses on. 🤓

Great park with easy proximity to the river. We were there for tubing and it was a perfect home base. The tubing was pretty chill but is not flat water. My 10 year old flipped but was ok after she got over the shock.
