Swig — Attraction in Grand Prairie

So I thought I’d try the new drink place to see if they were any good. The girl suggested the Dr Pepper Texas drink. It was really good!! I went back and got a large the next time and the service was even faster. Be prepared to spend at least $5 on a drink + tip. It is worth it to wait the couple extra minutes and the drinks are a whole lot better than the sonic equivalent, which I tried. Sonic is decent but this is much better. I haven’t tried the food but would like to next time. In all the drink stops around, it doesn’t taste so cookie cutter like some of the drinks elsewhere.

The line was super long, almost twice around the building when I first pulled up, but I noticed they had 2 Drive through lines and a lot of kids out taking orders. so I thought I would wait it out. Not even 15 minutes and I was through the line with a free drink and free chocolate chip cookies which were amazing!! I had an unsweet tea with sugar free coconut. I love that you have sugar-free options for add-ins. Not a lot of places offer that. The only thing I forgot to ask was if you had caffeine-free tea? Otherwise I can only go first thing in the morning.. i don't do caffeine after 1 PM. But I will...

The nerve of this place. I ordered a drink and the young man asked me what size I wanted. I responded " whatever size $3 is." I said this based on the menu prices on the website. I got my drink, drank some of it, looked at the receipt and SURPRISE!!! the cost was not $3 plus tax. It was close to $6. I asked for the manager who explained to me that the flavors are extra. Are you kidding me? Yes, I was fully reimbursed but the point is that they practice "bait and switch". Most people don't look at the receipt until they get home, if they look at all. 🤷🏼 $3 is for...
