Pei Wei Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Grand Prairie

Food is ok. We got our food to go. The portion was good. We got the chicken fried rice, pad thai and hot honey chicken. My family and I enjoyed the hot honey chicken. Although, it did lack heat(spiciness).The chicken pad Thai tasted too much like lime and the chicken fried rice was ok.

It does take a little longer to get your food versus panda express where food is already ready.

The service was ok. The cashier seemed to be struggling with the register. I saw a sign for free Thai Donuts with review. The manager said to leave 5 stars on Google to get free Donuts. I initially did leave 5 stars to get my free donuts,but the sign did not say I had to leave 5 stars. I like to leave honest reviews,so here it is. I just had to get my free Donuts. 🤣

06/15/25 - Got a coupon b1g1 free, so I thought I would give them a try for the 1st time. Place is nice with plenty of tables if you want to sit and eat there. I ordered to go tho. I ordered Kung Pao chicken - $11.59 & spicy drunken noodles - $11.59. Impressed that they put orders in reusable containers instead of the typical Styrofoam containers. Food a tad salty but looked & tasted pretty good. It's a little more expensive than Panda, but the look, the taste, and more varieties are so much better. Will come back to try other entrées in the near future.

7/10/25 Tried a couple of dishes twice since first time in June. All of them were too too salty. Brown rice undercooked with hard grain inedible. Don't know if all the sauces are premade but they put too much in the dish making them so salty/unhealthy for my heart. Had to dilute more with hot water to make...

This is my second time at the Pei Wei in Grand Prairie, and let me just say that both times went beyond my expectation. The food was great, but the customer service was even better. Shout out to this one worker Sophia who made my experience 10 times better. She would constantly check up on me and was so attentive with everyone. I stayed there for quite a while, and there she was still working so hard with a smile plastered on her face. I applaud the management for doing such a good job at choosing your workers because my experience overall was a 10/10 and I will most definitely do another fundraiser here...
