I always ask for BBQ sauce for my chicken sandwiches and have never had to pay for them b4 at other locations. When I asked if I could have one here, employee of the month (who wasn't very welcoming & didn't greet us w/a smile) said, "yeah, for .35." At first I thought she was joking b/c she had a straight face, but she wasn't...so I passed on it. When I looked at my sandwich it had a mayo sticker on it when I'd asked for mustard. My client checked her burger and they'messed her's up as well. Trying to be polite, I informed her of the mistake. Still with a straight face she simply took our food and receipt and walked away. While we waited, I jokingly ask if I could get a BBQ sauce since our order was wrong. She just shook her head no. My client began to grow impatient and just wanted to get a refund for the food and leave b/c it was taking a while. Finally, the cashier who took our order brought our food. She was way more warm and welcoming and apologetic for the mix-up in the order. As we were eating the employee of the month came back with a BBQ sauce packet and stated, "This is how I became employee of the month" while pointing to her badge. I asked, "How." She said by giving out barbecue sauce." I wanted to say something, but I didn't. I just shook my head. The experience wouldn't have been so bad if they had just messed up our order, and it wasn't that serious weather I got the BBQ sauce or not. What made the experience bad was her attitude and lack of friendliness. If you are an employee of the month, you should greet each customer with a warm smile and have friendly service. As we were eating, my client stated that she had said good morning to the same lady when we first walked in but she said nothing in return. I've only been to this location three times. And that was my second time getting the same vibes from the same woman. The first time I just brushed it off. I always try to find a way to lift someone's mood and it usually works. But she's just the type of person that you have to...
Read moreDo yourself a favor and never stop here. I would say 80%-90% of the time I'm here, my food is made incorrectly and it takes an obnoxious amount of time, no matter the time of day. My experience today is the last time I'll waste time or money on this place.
Today I ordered the Steakhouse burger, with extra crispy onions. I arrived in curbside at around 4pm and sat there for a solid 24 minutes while the drive thru remained mostly empty and there was nobody coming in to eat. I finally got my order and made it home, only to discover there were barely any of the crispy onions on the sandwich (even though i was charged like a dollar for extra) and the fries were the soggiest, oldest, most decrepit room temperature fries I've ever been served in my life, and I usually like Whataburger fries. At this point I'm at my house, it's rush hour, and I'm not driving back up there. I tossed the fries and ate the sandwich. To be fair, the meat was still hot but I don't think the crew deserve brownie points for not also serving me old patties. So as far as I'm concerned, they took half my money for nothing. I'm gonna reiterate that these things happen almost every time I go here, but giving me inedible fries was just blatant disregard for someone who just paid to eat (and waited 24 minutes).
I used to work fast food, managed a restaurant for 4 years, and I am baffled EVERY TIME I go here because I can't imagine a scenario where these things happen as often as they do here. It's miserable. Is every day everyone's first day? Is there an adult there? Who's the manager in charge? And why, no matter what time of day, can you people not make a sandwich with the correct ingredients when you've had a half hour to do it and virtually no other customers besides myself?
Don't waste your time or your money, the mismanagement here is obnoxious and has been for years. It's like middle schoolers run the place. I don't understand how it's possible to be this incompetent, you'd have to be doing...
Read moreEvery time I go there I get the exact same order. I say the exact same thing every time. A triple burger with no cheese, no combo, only the regular fixings that come on the burger with nothing else except the burger. Then they repeat it by saying you want a burger. I said I want a triple burger with no cheese. Then they say it doesn’t come with cheese. But if I don’t tell them I don’t want cheese then they will ask me if I want cheese. Then they repeat it again “it doesn’t come with cheese.” Well, when I don’t tell you no cheese then you will ask me if I want cheese and I have to say no cheese then. Then when I get to the window a young girl there that don’t speak English says “toopy doopy” to me over and over again. I say I don’t understand you. She says “toopy doopy” again and again. I put my head out my vehicle window and said “I don’t understand you, do you speak English. She repeats it again and then I just said I ordered triple meat burger. Then she took my debit card and ran it. When I get to the next window the girl says something very soft and quiet and I could not understand her either. I said what a few times. Then I finally said I ordered the triple meat burger and she quickly handed it to me and shut the window. All of them working there looks like high school kids. I don’t know if they are screwing around with me or they are just all very inexperienced with customer service. I love Whataburger but they needs to have better customer service if they want me to continue to get my triple burger there. I just looked inside my drive through bag and there are no napkins in the bag. This is really upsetting. When I just picked up my burger a quarter of a meat patty fell out of the burger. What is going on with the employees there. My burger never fell apart when I picked up...
