Signed up for an adult hockey class and it turned out that I was the only participant. Coach Tristan was very patient with me as I needed frequent breaks to catch my breath (I am so very out of shape!) but he always seemed slightly irritated that I was even there. Eventually a younger person started attending the class and Coach Tristan dumped me on another instructor with no warning and not one single word to me. I found out when the new coach skated up to me. It was pretty humiliating. The new coach, Coach Kayden, was very young (maybe 16? Idk) which just added to the awkwardness. But I soon learned that Coach Kayden is an AWESOME instructor!! He is knowledgeable and gave very supportive feedback. His enthusiasm and encouragement were just what I needed! Read moreI took my kids to take in a Grit game and they loved it!! The tickets were inexpensive. There is better seating up front, in the back is stadium style seating so bring your cushions. They do have a bar so you can drink while you are there. When the team goes on and off the ice they let the little kids line up to give high fives, which was the highlight of their whole night.
