Right before Christmas, we stopped at the Rt. 22 west location near Middlesex NJ on our way to Pennsylvania, to pick up a crave case for by brother in law in PA. He's a big fan of White Castle burgers and he always looks forward to us bringing him a case of frozen sliders whenever we go to PA, because there aren't any White Castle stores there. So I'm in line at the drive up to place my order. I wait a while at the sign to place my order, but nobody asked. I moved up to see if maybe I was waiting in the wrong spot, no such luck. Now I can't reverse because there's a car behind us placing thier order already. When I get to the cashier, I explain what happened. Very pleasantly she asks us what we need, I ask her for a crave case. I pay her for the order, and she directs me to a parking area and asks me to wait there, and says that they'll bring our order out to us. We wait about 15 minutes, and I start to wonder if we got played. I step out of the car and wait a while longer, looking over to the direction of the cashier. Then I see someone coming out with a crave case. I thank them and bring the case to the car. I was about to start putting the case in a cooler when I realized that the outside of the case was very warm. I checked the burgers, there were 30 freshly made sliders in there. I was expecting frozen burgers, but this was even better. Even though they were under the gun to have 30 fresh sliders made for us in 15 minutes, she never copped an attitude at all. If you were the cashier that took our order that day, I would like to say thank you, you made our day and my brother in laws day. As for my brother in law, after handing the case to him and telling him the story, he promptly began to put the sliders into sandwich bags and then into the...
Read moreYesterday, I stopped into this White Castle (Greenbrook, NJ). My order was a little over $11. I only had a $100 bill in cash. I gave it to the young man behind the register (Damien) who ran it through a machine to make sure it was real. The kid comes back to me and said..."It's no good. It's not real. " I tried to show him the way you can tell it's real by holding it up to the light and pointing to the serial numbered strip. He says, "I don't know how to do that." I asked him to run it through your currency detector again and provide me with some proof it is counterfeit. He does and tells me the machine shows it isn't real. He said could show me the video on his cell phone. When I asked for the manager and took my bill back, it turns out Damien is the manager.
I paid for my food vis debit card and left. I went to the Bank of America where I obtained the bill. I told them what happened and to check their bill. Just as I expected, it was not only authenticated, they cashed...
Read moreWaited at drive thru for 5 mins then was asked to wait one second which ended up being another 10 minutes after that we asked if they were ready and was still asked to hold on for another 5 minutes then when the order was taken we were rushed through our order. Very slow and wouldn’t recommend going through drive thru if you have anywhere to be ordering inside seems like the faster option. On top of that when paying for order the change was dropped all through the drive thru and unable to be retrieved. The cashier did not wait for me to be able to fully open my hand to properly retrieve my change. Overall ridiculous customer service. I’m not a fan of writing bad reviews as I work in customer service but this review was...
