'The Caf' UNCG Cafeteria — Attraction in Greensboro

Visiting a friend at his college of Greensboro. The campus overall has a welcoming quality unlike other universities that I have visited in the past. Although there are a number of cafes and restaurants on and near campus, the cafeteria is still a great place for a meal. With one swipe, you're provided various options buffet style. If you're grabbing breakfast, then you can have your choice of hot or cold- tasty mini quiches, turkey sausages that aren't too greasy, granola and more. The coffee brew has a pleasant aroma and there are flavor syrups that you can choose to help customize your cup. The cafeteria in the morning is a great place to relax and start your day right. If you're a student and have no class, then sit down and study. The cafeteria is quiet enough to finish some homework or write for a creative project. The chicken is often times undercooked and I’ve gotten violently ill from food I ate here. Now I will admit there are some good options that are cooked good but you have to be careful what you get. And you should also cut into any meat products and make sure it’s cooked before eating it. The soda machine is often out of flavor too. They also close abnormally early. I have class from 4-8pm on Tuesdays and Thursday and am not able to get food unless I buy it, use my flex, or go off campus. they removed my negative review where i called them out for having extremely limited and unhealthy options compared to how they used to serve food pre pandemic. like the deli station doesn’t even let you make your own sub anymore and half of the stations are still closed even though it’s been 2 YEARS since pandemic started. people pay thousands at this school and to not do better for the students is such a crime it’s really hard to get good food as a college kid and this place is just depressing. don’t even bother with the meal plan don’t give them your hard...
