As someone who frequented the same nail salon for over 15 years, visiting a new salon was daunting for me. However, I took a chance and I’m thrilled I did. Here are some things you can expect when visiting this new salon:
Pre-appointment: Before your appointment, you’ll sign policy paperwork that clearly outlines the expectations for your session. I appreciate this because it gives me a clear understanding of what to expect and what happens if I’m late (I need to be held accountable, haha!).
Salon Cleanliness: The salon is spotlessly clean! I was so accustomed to having kids running around and people on their phones that I didn’t realize how much I missed a peaceful environment. I usually enjoy small talk on most days, but if I have a few hours from work, I prefer to watch my iPad or catch up on emails while getting my GelX installation or Remedy Pedicure. They have water, wine, coffee, tea and Biscoff cookies (just like the Delta flight experience that I’m used to).
Staff: I haven’t encountered any unpleasant staff members, including the owner, Vay. Vay is incredibly sweet, passionate, and highly knowledgeable. I’ve worked with three different ladies so far, and all of them have been friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
Services: They offer a wide range of services, except for acrylic and water pedicures (goes without saying!). If you’re used to 30-minute pedicures for $30, this might not be the place for you. They use high-quality products, which means the cost of service is higher. However, they do post the starting prices on their website, so you won’t be surprised. I usually spend between $160 and $200 (before tip) for a full GelX application with Tier 2 designs and a Remedy Pedicure that includes gel polish removal and a new gel application. GelX lasts for about three weeks, and you can easily extend it to four weeks.
Overall, I’ve left my nail salon of over 15 years. I drive 50 minutes to this salon every four weeks, and I’m so glad I made the switch. I highly recommend Cure...
Read moreI entered the Revolution Mill building where Cure Waterless Nail Spa is now open. Sunshine poured down on me as I walked through the hall leading to the nail spa. There before me was floor to ceiling glass walls and I could see the Cure employees at work. Upon entering I was meet by not one, but two beautiful smiles. They both welcomed me. One young woman checked me in and within one minute I was being taken to the nail station where I meet Brandi (who will hence forth be called my new nail tech). My appointment was for a Structured Manicure. The process was flawless and done well. Brandi and I chitty-chatted about our travels, life and having “peace of mind”. Between sentences I would look around and see the green plants (giving off carbon dioxide-thank you) and nicely placed nail polish bottles stacked neatly on walls or white shelves. Yet everything seem to blend together so smoothly. There pedicure chairs truly impressed me as I noticed a client who was hoisted into the air so their feet could be worked on. I have no doubt the employees benefit because they don’t have to spend their whole day bent over painted toes (it will be an experience I am sure when I schedule my pedicure!!). To Cure’s credit the clean air of the nail salon was wonderful. Kudos to Cure for their clean standards, attention to detail, and sanitation set up. I am certainly now your forever client! Ladies there are plenty of places to get your nails done. But if you a nice, clean, uncluttered nail salon in a beautiful location, full of beautiful women. Make your appointment at Cure.. Tell them Roberta sent you!!!!! 😉❤️😁 PS they appreciate the natural nail (THANK YOU) but they also have GelX with tips and from what I saw those are...
Read moreVay is such a kind and amazing business woman. My first time here was truly a memorable one. She makes you feel right at home. I had never had or heard of a waterless pedicure before discovering her business, but I was thoroughly impressed by her and the service. As promised, my pedicure and polish lasted significantly longer with her waterless method than my standard pedicures. I went 7 whole weeks without needing a touch up. I am recommending her to my friends and associates. Not only did my feet look and feel fantastic, I felt like a rejuvenated new lady leaving her as one should feel leaving a spa! The service is a great opportunity to relax, unwind, and have a moment to fully be present which is extremely valuable as many of us are busy women in today’s society. I was also pleased with her color selection! I think that’s extremely important as well being able to come in and get exactly what you want. Vay’s service was above and beyond amazing in...
