Texas Gold Connection — Attraction in Greenville

Extremely happy to have found this hidden gem (no pun intended). Originally I was planning on going to another local jeweler to have some basic maintenance done but when I realized they were closed I went on Google & decided this was the next best option as they had countless rave reviews. Primarily, I dealt with Curtis & he was exactly what the standard should be for professionalism. While I first went in just planning on simple maintenance, I ended up multiple times deciding on different options & ultimately had one of my rings customized by Curtis. While I’m sure an OCD customer like myself can be frustrating at times, the staff at Texas Gold Connection remained nothing but cheerful, accommodating & patient. Since moving to Texas, we have not had the opportunity to establish a relationship with a reputable jeweler so I was hesitant trying somewhere new but glad I have found a place I can trust with any of my jewelry needs.

The only reason I knocked off one star was simply because the on hand selection of pieces to purchase seemed a bit slim compared to other jewelry stores. However, don’t let that detour you. Words fail us at how much we LOVE TGC. My husband bought my engagement ring elsewhere but it was a marquise cut with only two prongs—we needed that fixed! Went to a highly reputable place all the way in Dallas and after months of middle-manning between other jewelers I was told that there wasn’t anything that could be done and I could just call when I lost the Diamond and go from there. I asked for recommendations on FB and my neighbors, friends and co-workers ALL recommended TGC. I brought my ring in and explained what I’d been told to Bart and he looked it over and said he’d be able to fix it!!! I braced myself for the wait time that I’d become accustomed to. “3 weeks” THAT’S IT?! DONE!!! They were able to add prongs so my Diamond doesn’t rattle around 🙃 and I haven’t had an issue since. My husband bought some day-of earrings for me from here—they’re flawless! And I just got my ring soldered together using by adding on express service for ~$20. I got it back in less than 2 days. We brought in my grandmothers wedding set from the 1940s to be repaired strengthed and upsized from a 4 to a 6.5!! The bands where almost non existant from many years of love and being worn not to mention very tarnished. I was terrified at the very thought of having work done on them.
