Earl May Garden Center — Attraction in Grimes

I found the Earl May, Garden Center at Grimes to be one of the nicest garden centers in Central Iowa. The team at this location will do anything to make sure your questions are answered and you find just the right plant or product for what you need. The plants are kept in great condition, being watered, and tidied up constantly. nice selection of perennials, herbs, annuals, shrubs, trees. The store is nicely laid out with products for birds, garden, decorations, and any kind of product. You would need to control bugs or disease. Nice selection for kids. I was approached by three different people with smiles on their faces, asking if I needed anything and I had conversations with, two of them that left me pretty happy with the answers. I have to commend one of your employees (Mark) for his assistance and expertise in resolving a "lawn-fungus" issue that had decimated our yard this summer.

While speaking with him over the telephone about the concerns I had regarding our "ailing" lawn, he suggested that I take photos on my smart phone and bring in some small samples of the lawn itself.

When meeting Mark in person he stated that it appeared our lawn had a "fungus" issue and suggested that we try a "Lawn Fungicide" product and repeat the treatment every two weeks until resolved.

His suggestion and your product "INFUSE-Systemic Fungicide for Turf and Ornamentals" worked GREAT! My lawn showed significant growth and recovery within 30 days.

In the last month or so I've been into this location at least six or seven times while in the process of starting a garden. Whether it's a quick visit to get more seed starting mix or to ask questions about what I'm doing there's always been somebody who has been there to answer my questions. Everyone has been beyond friendly to the point of being recognized when I go in by certain employees. I also appreciate the respect they extend to their customers and employees by allowing them to decide if masks are somthing they wish to wear. It's also nice being able to actually see who I'm talking to without a mask or something interfering. My girlfriend and I will continue to support this company long into...
