Groton Shoppers Mart — Attraction in Groton

I shopped at CVS Pharmacy at the plaza. The pharmacy was overcrowded. This must be the only place in town for medicine. We were standing in line for about a 1 hour.

We received a text that the medicine was ready for pickup but it was prepared when we got there. The clerk got it ready when we got there and had to have the pharmacist check it so we were waiting at the counter for that process. She didn't take anyone else in line until our order was complete which she was doing for everyone which made the time in the line longer.

I'm just happy CVS still had the prescription medicine because it was hard to find. We waited almost 5 hours after the text message said it was ready to pick it up. Since they didn't have it ready they could have sold out filling other people's prescriptions after ours.

Personally, the place is extremely busy, so CVS needs to pay their workers more so they can get more people happy to work there. Plus higher pay will compensate the dedicated workers that are there. They were running around hustling behind that counter and still couldn't keep up with demand.

Parking around the Big Y supermarket are horrendous. The parking spaces are adequate but the lanes between them are too narrow for the volume of traffic.
