Gurnee Mills — Attraction in Gurnee

Honestly I don’t know how some of there’s stores and kiosks are allowed to be in this mall. There is a store called ESTHETIX and they sell fake beauty products and scam you ! They sell face creams that are supposedly over $800 for cheap . The sales associate talked me into buying a product for $100 I agreed she said she would add some products for free , I repeatedly asked her how much and she said “only $100” I make the purchase and as I’m walking to the bathroom 10 minutes later I realize she did not give me a receipt I looked for my receipt and saw that she charged me $325! I went back 30 minutes later the same day and the sales associates gave me a hard time about a return . I tried to search the business up on google but nothing came up at all . They don’t have a phone number to the store , they aren’t on google , they aren’t on maps . This whole store is a scam I went back for my refund a week later and they still didn’t want to refund me the manager Brian kept calling someone on WhatsApp and talking to them in a foreign language. Finally I got my refund that I had to fight for and he kept acting suspicious when I gave him my credit card he kept looking at it and he was talking on the phone at the same time I didn’t get a receipt stating my refund this business is so sketchy and I hear stuff about this...

I have been going here since they had the red barn on the ceiling… it definitely has changed a ton.

If you’re a tourist I suggest parking in the J parking lot and going through the J entrance to get photos in the mirror hallway then use the food court as a base meeting place.

I recently went into the new “round 1” arcade and bowling alley and I highly suggest it if you’re okay with spending a pretty penny. It is super fun and I love the atmosphere.

If you’re hungry I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Little Tokyo, if you’re not a tourist you know this is a classic place and they give you a tonnn of food for a cheap price. I always get lo mein with extra lo mein and sesame chicken.

The bass pro shop is always highly stocked and they have a giant fish tank with a bubble for kids to sit in to look at the fish. Good picture opportunities and a good rest stop for parents to keep kids busy. I’m not sure if bass pro still has their arcade but that’s another good pit stop area for parents to look around and kids to play games.

Only reason it’s 4 stars instead of 5 is because I wish the hood rats wouldn’t use it as a hangout area. There’s not much danger at all compared to north Chicago but just be aware of your surroundings whenever visiting any wear in Chicago or...
