UPDATE: Came in again. 1st of all it seems like they've gotten rid of that guy who was bringing down the business because the guy who came to us 1st was soo nice! Even smiling! A girl happened to be there at the door and she opened it for us (me and my grandma) She then complemented me on taking care of her and I said she has dementia. And she said "bless yall" I really appreciated that greeting.☺️ 1st impression.. on the phone it was good but they really do have a lot of business and are almost always fully booked for a service the day of. So book ahead of time. Got there and they took the car right away, the receptionist was good and they kept communication w me as they were finishing, to see if I wanted them to fix more of the things they noticed the car needed. I didn't care for any of it tho because it's a work car so🤷🏽‍♀️ Also some one of the guys was trying to get me to fix the crack in the window- on some "I specialize in cracks" but he was super rude to my grandma in the car who has dementia, trying to lean over her as she was still in the car. I could care less about him. Bad for the company! Also, if you're going for the 1st time and using Google Maps, just know the map stops short and tells you, you've arrived when instead it stops at the dealership ahead of it (ETD Discount Tire & Service) and they try to take the business instead. Had to leave this review on their page, "I wanted the Toyota of Hackensack the next business over and the map led me here and said I arrived for some annoying reason. Now that's not the problem, but tell me y when I went to the front desk and told them I have an appointment, why try to trick me and take down my info as if they were who I made my appointment with. Eventually I caught on and I asked if he saw me down for an appointment then he finally agreed and he the guy was like yea you're right, we dont see you but we could fit you in. Like huh? I didn't make an appointment w u.. why are you acting like you're the correct dealership. It was manipulative."

My family recently purchased a new 2025 Toyota Sienna Platinum AWD from Toyota of Hackensack, trading in our old reliable 2004 Toyota Sienna Limited minivan. We couldn't be happier with the entire process, thanks to the exceptional service provided by our salesman, Bill Coll, and finance manager, Steve. From the moment we began the process, Bill Coll was incredibly welcoming and attentive. He listened carefully to our needs and preferences without any pressure, guiding us through the options for the 2025 Toyota Sienna Platinum AWD. His knowledge of the vehicle was impressive, and he patiently answered all our questions, making sure we felt confident in our choice. What truly stood out was how Bill kept us consistently up to date on the process, from ordering to production and the estimated time to the dealership. He made the negotiation process smooth and transparent, ensuring we felt we were getting a fair deal. Once the sales aspect was complete, we moved on to the finance office with Steve, the finance manager. Steve was equally professional and efficient. He clearly explained all the warranties and additional services available, breaking down complex terms into easy-to-understand language. We truly appreciated his transparency and his effort to find the best possible rates and terms for our budget. We were particularly pleased with how smoothly he handled adding a 10-year warranty to the vehicle. He made what can often be a daunting part of the process feel straightforward and stress-free. Their professionalism, honesty, and dedication to customer satisfaction made buying our new car a pleasure. The only word I can come up with is disappointed….. Spent 80k with them and I can’t even get a return phone call…. I flew up from Florida to purchase a saddleback 1794 limited edition tundra… I wasn’t told, but was notified when I got there that a manager from another dealership demoed the truck, also wasn’t told that he curbed the back right rim, put All kinds of scratches and blemishes in the leather also white dog hair everywhere from apparently having his dog in the truck also tinted the front two windows and half the windshield with bubbly tint and a big scratch with red paint on the front bumper where he hit another car and on the side mirror…. Saddleback leather teamed up with Toyota and they provide some bags that come with the truck I was told the manager has them from the other dealership and he was to drop them off the next day and they were to be mailed to me immediately. It’s been two weeks. I can’t even get a return phone call. It’s $2000 worth of bags , I’ve tried to get in contact with them. I have emailed and texted the sales manager Mario numerous I was told that if I live there, they would be able to fix it, but since I don’t live there, they cannot commission it off to another Toyota dealership I’ve tried over and over to get in touch with them to straighten this out so I could give a good review…..

"PLEASE READ IF YOUR SERIOUS ABOUT BUYING A CAR!" - IONES0 VERIFIED CUSTOMER Previously before ending up going with Toyota of Hackensack, I research every detail about the cars we were considering, all the way to the dealership reviews and sales team people that were mentioned. I had been speaking with 3 other dealers, one of which was horrendous to deal with and set a bad tone for what I thought I was about to embark on. Luckily, after several let downs and bad car salesmen tactics & demeaning conversations with the internet sales manager from another dealer in Queens, NY, I ended up contacting Toyota of Hackensack. I had a great experience with Stacey there who handles internet sales interests. We had emailed back and forth and spoke on the phone about pricing. I had several questions that she put me in touch with Jay the sales team manager. Jay was great! I was very transparent which I know you shouldn't be but he was very straight forward with me, so I was with him. I had a few questions about some of the vehicles listed and we talked numbers. We negotiated what he can do and he was honest about how much room he actually has on a vehicle due to the demand during covid19. PLEASE KEEP THAT IN MIND, CARS ARE NOT AS AVAILABLE AS YOU MIGHT THINK! Jay and I came to an agreement before coming down to test drive the car and he honored that price. They sent me the breakdown of the car, the sale price and the their fees for processing paper work, and obtaining license and plates, registration, etc. He then handed me over to Ana Mayers. She gave me a call to set up a day to come drive the car. She's was awesome! Easy and straight forward. Dealers are busy right now and are working the best they can around appointments and walk ins. So give yourself a little more time and be patient when buying right now. This was actually really nice because it allowed me time to drive the car, park it and look at it thoroughly. I went the through the entire car and played tested the features on it. Then we took it for the drive. I was able tested its pick up and handling, shift the car in manual and back into drive. Ana was great, she allowed us to go on our own to drive it, I sent her a text as I was gone for about 40 mins and she was completely fine with it. I have to say this was probably the selling point for me here. Not feeling rushed to test it and get it back, there's no way to really know if you like a car in 25 mins and especially with a sales associate in the car with you asking distracting questions. This experience was amazing, you really get to listen for wind noise, feel bumps and decide if the car feels good over them and how it really handles turns. We brought it back and Ana was finished with her previous appointment and met us in the lot. We walked in went over the numbers and I resented her with the quote and she approved it with Jay and that was it. It was so easy. She's really good because she is real. I feel like sales associates sometimes try to engage you in a personal way but sometimes its too early. Ana, was just real and honest and when paper work was taking a while she was with another customer but would check on us in-between our wait time. This was a really great experience. I know some of the dealers have bad reviews and I took those into consideration before contacting Hackensack but I would say that this was not the case at all. This will help you know what your buying beforehand. Also, If you like a sales associate that is very well mannered and straight forward and allows you time to actually think, Ana Mayers is the person to ask for. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE & SHADY DEALINGS

I have been a loyal Toyota customer for over a decade. I usually visit the Parkway Toyota in Englewood Cliffs.

Recently, I had the unfortunate experience of visiting Toyota of Hackensack and I feel compelled to leave this review. I must say, their customer service is beyond appalling. From the moment I stepped foot in the dealership, it was clear that they had no interest in providing a satisfactory experience.

Firstly, the salesperson I encountered was incredibly rude and dismissive. I asked several questions about purchasing my vehicle, but it felt like a burden for the salesperson to even acknowledge my concerns. She lacked basic product knowledge and seemed uninterested in assisting me. It was as if the salesperson was doing her best to rip me off with the outrageous price breakdown she provided with no explanation.

Specifically, she demanded me to pay a total of $15,792.69 for my leased used car without answering my questions or explaining to me why she added $1995.00 to the computer printed out breakdown. She quickly hand-wrote this amount on the printed paper and said that this “lease buy out” fee was not negotiable. Not only is this behavior shady, but her statement is inaccurate. This amount is not in the terms of the lease. Furthermore, one may have the option negotiate this additional price or, at the very least, obtain clarification and answers. The salesperson also wanted to charge me DMV fees. Overall, the salesperson was evasive when I asked for any specific details or clarification.

Another important point to make is the following. Assuming purchasing a new Toyota Corolla is $23,000-$25,000, asking a loyal customer to pay a total of $15,792.69 for a used leased car after the customer already paid a great deal of money toward the car is outrageous. A total of $15,792.69 is more than half the cost of purchasing a brand new vehicle.

The salesperson demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism. She was pushy and relentless in her desperate attempt to make a sale and rip me off. The salesperson showed no regard for my preferences, concerns, questions, or budget and simply tried to pressure me into purchasing a vehicle that clearly did not meet my needs. The Toyota of Hackensack has a high-pressure environment that left me feeling uncomfortable and highly disrespected, especially after being a loyal Toyota client for over 10 years.

To make matters worse, the communication at this dealership was abysmal. Management failed to follow up on callbacks to me. I called the Sales Manager, Mario, to express my concerns, and he still has not called me back. My experience at Toyota of Hackensack dealership was incredibly frustrating and demonstrated a lack of accountability and respect for customers' time.

Overall, my experience at the Toyota of Hackensack dealership was nothing short of a nightmare. The poor customer service, rude salesperson, and general lack of professionalism were truly disheartening.

I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a car to steer clear of this dealership. There are far better options out there that will treat you with the respect and courtesy you deserve.

Also, if you are looking to buy out your Toyota car lease, you may be able to directly contact Toyota Financial Services to avoid expensive and unnecessary...

This dealer used be good customer service over one year  because I've been having a car with them many years now I was happy how they handle it the  cars actually before .."Now  this two ladies working  there since ever  Kat and Melissa call themselves director" They  really nasty and rude if I had issues with my car constantly without they fix real issues ....I kept  bringing my car and they don't even fix that... and this is the third time again the same thing happening so I don't even know if I should go back there??? because all they do blame it on me saying that we did everything we I drive same issues again...  They said they even get the part and get it fix when I drive it again same issues happened as soon as I drive close to my place again.   They never did what I was told seem like. I  don't understand this 3rd times the pass. Almost 3 week  .. The car is new on lease  should be . They said okay you don't have to pay but? later when I'm about to leave they forcing me to pay yet nothing fix when I drive ....same issues again or  they lied to me that girl Melissa is the Consulting agent they said she is??? I guess??with blind hair pregnant she is rude and nasty  when I told her why you lied to me again ...she was so  mean to me again  told me don t come back here  again. I used get good services there b4 now really bad because of her and Kat whenever I go there they get involve make things worse instead professional customer service ????now it keep getting worse others I know saying too ...Now worst customer service and treatments  for someone buying cars from them for over two decade and I never had this kind of issue before so "nasty when those two get ladies Melissa and Kat she call herself as customer service director...Every time I go they got  involved and they make things really worse.  They put everything in risk let me drive the car like that again and again when I speak up why they do that ??why lied to me not done what I was told they instead blame everything on me with really mean tones and kept repeatly speak down to me and really nasty... If they could simply   fix the issues and be nice ...But, they not,  this two ladies making Toyata of Hackensack look really bad and horrible same time plus  threat me not to come here because I made review on her what exactly she did last time on the website so she now not like me for my honesty .  I have car issues here again after 3 week now same issues since yesterday driving that car from dealer... . 3rd time I came she lied what she said their machanics do unfortunately still didn't happen  insane  ... Those two ladies d making everything worse there. what the heck I just experienced drama queen not car services ??   simply those ladies practice with the preach or don't take their responsibility of what they say and do.  They still didnt  fix my car issues for 3rd and send me back said they did ...If something happen to the car moving funny I hope everyone know the truth I am taking risking because I feel they won't fix it  again.
