Worked out here for 2 months, absolutely loved it. I have a ton of experience working out in gyms but after training here I'll never do anything other than Crossfit ever again.
So many times I would go to the gym and lift weights, sit on my phone in between sets, and waste a ton of time. Sometimes I would get a good workout, sometimes not. It was starting to bore me.
I'd always been interested in trying Crossfit, so I bit the bullet with these guys since they were across the street from where I was staying. Very happy I did.
I wasn't exactly "weak" when I started, but after training for 2 months I noticed considerable improvements in my cardio and conditioning. My shoulders got bigger and I look "beefier" if that makes sense. I should probably tighten up my diet but for 2 months I've made a ton of progress just by following their programming.
That's what I love most about CF - you don't have to think about what you're doing at all. You literally just show up for class, do what they tell you to do, and go home.
Trainers are amazing, good vibes, and there wasn't a single workout where I wasn't drenched in sweat. The owner is there every day and you can tell it's because he wants to be, not because he has to be.
The people who train here take training seriously and it shows. Even the girls are seriously fit. Nothing is more motivating than working out in a room full of girls who weigh 70 lbs less than you yet are stronger than you.
Highly recommend this gym. If you go anywhere else...
Read moreI have been going to Gator Crossfit for almost 3 months now so I believe I can give you a good and reliable review! I am so happy to have been brought in by a friend to a trial class! I have been going there 4 to 5 times a week and the change in my body is amazing! The classes are taught by very knowledgeable coaches that are attentive and energetic and really know what they are doing: not only have I built strengh and endurance but my muscles mass has increased and I have lost body fat in areas that had always been an issue: legs and butt are shaped, thinner and more toned and I have abs! Now as far as the atmosphere, there is such a nice sense of community with a very diverse group of all ages and nationalities that we have all become "crossfit buddies" and are always motivated and eager to come back for a new challenge and oh my, is it challenging! They also often organise events on weekends, we celebrate birthdays, congratulate each others on achievements or simply a workout done which all make us part of a cool family! The Brasilian flair from our coaches and training is undeniably part of our success: Thank you Rafa, Leo, Marcus and Leticia!
UPDATE: 8 months later and I am still going there more than ever. Built great habits, missing when I am not going and made lovely friends! Oh... and the 6...
Read more3/3/25—This morning, I woke up debating whether to exercise. I figured I would try the CrossFit gym near me. I almost signed up for the one-month contract but decided to drop in first—I didn’t want to risk buyer’s remorse.
I took a Lyft and barely made it on time. It turned out to be surprisingly close to the house I’m renting for the month. As soon as I walked in, the training started right away. I got a solid workout in and shared a rack with a friendly lady, and later, a second person joined us. Today’s workout included running—800m, 400m, and 200m—but I only ran as much as I felt was enough.
After the workout, I noticed they had a coffee machine and some treats for sale. The bathroom felt like a spa, which was a nice touch. I wanted to buy a T-shirt, but the staff was busy with a competition. I’ll stop by later to get one since I like collecting workout T-shirts from different places I’ve trained around the world. Oh , they jump ropes and other goodies . Actually I tried the jump ropes they had hanging inside the gym . Really good ones !
So, I am still in the debating phase. I’m not sure if I should commit to the three-times-a-week plan for a month. I also want to try different workouts like Pilates, pole fitness, and boxing, so I need to...
