This was first time at Wapo Taco and definitely my first time trying Tex-Mex food. I learned about the restaurant by their advertisement on Instagram, and decided to check it out since I was in the Hallandale Beach area. There's a menu posted by the entrance so you can look it over and know what you want before entering. The cost for the food is a bit pricey, ranging from $12-$25. For those ptices; the meals better come with a drink, an appetizer, and dessert...okay. There are soups, salads, burritos/chimichangas, quesadillas, fajitas, tacos (soft/hard), Wapo plate/bowl, beer & wine, hot & cold beverages, etc. Inside the restaurant was quiet and colorful with plenty of seating for the customers. I greeted a female employee the counter and placed my order of the chimichanga de carne to go. It was prepared very quickly...a big portion of tender steak with rice wrapped in a soft tortilla; and topped with sour cream, shredded lettuce, and diced tomato...served with some chips & homemade salsa. It was pretty good. Eventually I will return to try something else...whenever I feel like indulging in Tex-Mex food.

Brilliant Authentic Mexican food! As soon as you are seated, you will be greeted and have 3 different free salsas to dip your chips in. If you asked for my favorite, I'd have to go with the salsa verde which pairs really nice with the beer selections they have (modello, corona, dos equis) which they serve ice cold! As for the tacos I only have tried the pastor tacos which I thought were excellent. The tortilla is made fresh, the seasonings used are just perfect and what I really liked about the pastor is that it includes bits of pineapple which goes really well with the taco as a whole.

Super scrumptious meal! Very filling and satisfying. Service was perfect. I ordered a beef bowl. The price was fair. The guac was worth the $2.50. I had a delightful chipotle mayo hot sauce with it. The free chips at the beginning were a pleasant surprise. There is a 3.5% fee to use your card so bring cash. I wouldn't say it's enough to feed two, but it was definitely a healthy and delicious meal. My colleague had the chicken bowl and shared that the chicken was perfectly crispy. Overall, really great eats with great customer service.

Food is ok a little pricey $14 for a borritto half the size you get at chipotle, service was horrible; I said hi walked up to the register, the woman stared at me for 2 mins and walked away, then there was a gentleman (he was nice) after I stood there for another couple of minutes asked if I was ok, I said no I have not been helped I’d like to make an order to go , he called for the same woman I greeted when I came in, I told her I would like to order to go she then pointed to another woman who came over she just looked at me and I repeated I’d like to make an order to go, which she then grabbed a third lady who asked if I’d been helped I, once again I said no she handed me a menu then I said ( in a nice tone) I already know what I would like to order (since I waited so long I had time to look at a menu read the entire thing and make up my mind)... mind you the messed up thing about this is the whole area is open: the grill, counter, and ā€œrestaurantā€ eating area, all the employees saw me when I walked in and took a note that I was there in front of the bar /register not seated (there was only one family who was already seated and eating their meal) they all chose to blatantly ignore me with two of the four people I spoke with giving me an attitude, but yet they still had the time to give well wishes to the family finishing up and leaving before helping me from the front counter saying ā€œ bye have a nice day , come again soonā€....this was my FIRST and LAST time eating from this establishment IT IS NOT worth the...

Coyo Taco prices with taste more in line with Moes. Frankly if that was the only issue with the restaurant, I wouldn't have bothered to place a review, I just wouldn't go back. Unfortunately this vaunted establishment is at the center of the worst ubereats experience I've ever had. Two and a half hours is what it took to get our order on what was originally a 20 to 30 minute delivery window. The first attempt to put it through took over an hour and the order was abruptly canceled. We called Uber and they pegged the issue on the driver, so we asked if the restaurant could still fill the order. The restaurant told the Uber representative they could prepare the food in 20 minutes. An hour and 15 minutes after that and we still had nothing. Every call we made to the restaurant to verify the status was at best, less than professional and usually just rude. When we finally received the food (at 11:25pm; the latest I've ever eaten Mexican food sober), the order wasn't even right. Please do yourself a favor and the avoid this establishment; just go to Chipotle or any other Mexican restaurant. BurgerFi is always solid and right next door. The fact that this dump is still in business despite being next to a place with better food, cheaper prices, and better service is a travesty. There are too many options for dining out in Hollywood for these people to get away with putting any customer through the experience we just...

I don’t even know where to begin. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked in we had a feeling we were going to have a bad experience. When we walked in, the young lady at the counter was cleaning the juice machine and we ask if we can sit at the bar and she gave us the facial expression like ā€œwhy do you wanna sit here.ā€ She then nodded her head and said yes. We ordered the wapo nachos, which had no flavor and dry chicken. The steak quesadilla was a nightmare, it lacked flavor and they put an excessive amount of sour cream. I can’t remember the last time I had a quesadilla that they put sour cream in it. The Carnitas taco was horrible and also lacked flavor. Now, in regards to our drinks, I noticed that they had an Italian beer on draft and I asked the young lady if I could try it. She poured me a full glass instead. I wasn’t a fan so I asked if she could pour me a modelo. She gave me a rude expression even after I said I would pay for the Italian beer she poured. She seemed like she did not want to be bothered and my girlfriend and I didn’t even want to ask her for anything additional because we didn’t want to deal with her attitude. In the end, she charged us for the beer that we didn’t drink. The price for the flavorless food was high and the service was terrible. I will not be dining here again. Dinner service took place...
