Great place to shop if you like being stared down the whole time. Came here with my family and we were getting death glares by the sister working there. My mom and sisters all felt the same way and it was the first thing they mentioned after we walked out the store. So I know I wasn’t being delusional. Idk if she just didn’t like that we had a baby with us, maybe? He was running around (like any baby would) but only in the area that we were in. I made sure to stay behind him the whole time. He was not wandering off, not bothering anyone, or touching anything at all. Or maybe she thought we’d steal? We don’t roll that way, and if that’s the reason for the death stares, then I’m disappointed to know a fellow Muslim would make that assumption. I’m sorry if yall had bad experiences with past customers being shady but, you do not take that out on other honest shoppers. I do see comments here stating the different treatment towards their non Arab shoppers so idk what to conclude. This isn’t the first time I experienced the stares either (thats why I assumed maybe they thought we’d steal). The only difference now was that the attitude given by the sister did not feel welcoming whatsoever as opposed to the other workers I’ve exchanged words with. Bad customer service, refused an exchange on an unworn item that was purchased as a gift, there are much better places to shop at in hamtramck, take your money elsewhere! There’s a reason there are multiple 1 star reviews...
