I'm hesitant on even posting this, however I feel personally disrespected and I feel as though the situation was not handled properly.
Harper went to Texas Tumblers Gymnastics for a winter camp. We had an incident prior to this one that left a bad feeling in my mouth but I let them have it and it was dropped so no need to bring it up again.
However on the night that of the fourth after Harper's bath I noticed bumps from shoulder to shoulder and across her chest. I thought it was hives or eczema patches so I gave her allergy medicine. today it's scabies.
One of the staff members there allowed harper (possibly other kids but I can only speak for my own) to use facility towels as blankets to sleep with in the mornings.
When I found I through harper telling me I immediately told her not to use them and to bring her own blanket if she wanted one to use.
As the week progressed it spread...down her spine across to the front of her body down to her belly button area. They spread to her armpits and that's when I was like this is not allergies. Long story short it's scabies. A baylor scott and white medical professional told me today it's scabies.
When I called to inform them. I was met with what I would say poor customer service. I wasn't asking for a refund, I wasn't cursing. I wasn't yelling. I explained the same way I explained above. The person I spoke with victim blamed my child....the same way they had with the first incident. She told me that Google told her that my child could've gotten it from school. She spoke over me and disrespectful shrugged off me and my child.
I'm informing yall so yall don't go there for at least a smooth 2 weeks, if you go there at all.
Instead of calling me to speak about the issue once I posted this statement on Facebook. They removed themselves from being tagged. They also seem to to still be open on this day! And not closed for...
Read moreI found their website and wanted my son to get involved since we just moved to the area. I called Texas Tumblers and got him enrolled over the phone. Now take in mind I have not been there physically yet, just been on their website. I was emailed the recipt right away which was a total of $278.12. And of that the registration fee was $125. I was then emailed only 1 PDF file and that was the application form. I was never emailed anything else. His first day was Tuesday the 8th. When I arrived I handed the lady the application and was expecting to go in with him to visit the facility and teacher. But because my son was having a hard time leaving me, she told me that I possibly could Thursday. I was also told if I had his shot record and his doctor form. I informed her that I never got that and she handed me another form that the doctor had to fill out. When I read the application form it states that regresttation is only $35 (it doesn't say for which program) When I picked my son up on his first day he came out crying saying "mommy I don't like this place". When I emailed them about getting a refund she told me that's not possible because it states on the flyer and parents portal the fee is $125. I WAS NEVER HANDED OR SENT A FLYER NOR TOLD ABOUT A PARENT PORTAL!!!!!
THE COMMUNICATION HAS NOT BEEN GREAT AND THE LACK OF INFORMATION...
Read moreI wanted to love it and have been plotting on this place since we first moved here in 2022. To start we attended pre K3 and she enjoyed herself (I gather) but I had waaayyyy too many "hiccups" for only 2 days. I'd say this is a place for the self-sufficient kiddos, and mine needs a little extra TLC. They "allowed misplacement" of multiple of her items, and when I attempted to recover them through staff, one member told me after I was like, "That was kind of expensive is there somewhere i can look?" She said,"sorryyy, shrugged and walked away" excuse me!? Luckily another staff member was able to find the items after chuckling at what the other said stating the they were wirh another person's belongings even though her name is all over her things. The losing things every day she was there is really just why we won't be back. She was also unusually exhausted after attending here. I'm understanding of new adjusts, but again unusual because we travel a lot and this threw her schedule off. I called multiple times to get information and still didn't have everything for my LO to be prepped for the day. They're also a bit expensive with the consideration that we've experienced their...
