Update for 2024: This is still our go to spot in town! But theyâve made upgrades! Youâll have to go in and checkout the new menu. As my fiancĂ© (made my own upgrade đ) recently told someone about this cafe: âthe food is the closest thing to homemade you can find outside of a home kitchenâ. Weâve had bulgogi at practically every place from here to Dallas and I can assure you, K-Cafeâs is the best! We stopped in for breakfast and I had the egg salad sandwich which was delicious. And as someone who actually hates most egg salad (if I can taste mayo Iâm out), the bacon balanced it perfectly. The surprise home run was the spicy kimbop - perfectly balanced and I kept stealing pieces from my partners plate. đ€«
Donât forget to ask about the kimchee! Itâs made in-house and you can taste the difference from the prepackaged kind.
Stop by! You wonât regret it!
Prior review: This is my boyfriend and my favorite cafe/coffee shop/boba stop in town! The owner and her friend and all those who work here are so kind and personable. And the food weâve tried is always so delicious. We mostly come here for drinks though. I love their green tea/matcha latte with boba - and theyâre always so great to make it less sweet which is sometimes hard to find and most can be too sweet. My boyfriend loves their chai with boba and their strawberry milk! If youâve got a sweet tooth those are to die for!
I highly recommend checking them out and chatting with the lovely women...
Read moreIâm so excited I had the opportunity to go here after work on an early Friday morning. This newly open cafe has unique flavors of coffee , teas and some snacks. I would say that everything is American and Asian inspired. The ambience is welcoming and delightful. The yogurt is all natural. I had the pleasure of being served by the owner, Eun. She is a sweet lady. Sheâs a savvy small business woman trying to get her business going. Currently it is the soft opening and the grand opening will be in November. Let me tell you what I tried.
The whole reason I stopped in is because I saw she had lavender milk tea on the menu. This excited me because I love love love lavender iced coffee. It adds an herbal note to the coffee. Itâs not on the menu, but if you ask for it, she will make it. She doesnât use a syrup. She used real lavender hops to flavor her drinks and some snacks. I also had the yogurt with raspberries and blueberries. This was delicious. It doesnât need the granola. However, I did add some all natural Texas honey when I got home. Maybe this is something she will add as a condiment in the future. I will make that a request. The big question, is will I return??? Absolutely one hundred and ten percent YES!!! Give it a try if youâd like to try more then the basic we are...
Read moreI must say it was a delightful experience, largely thanks to the owner's exceptional hospitality. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted with a genuine smile, setting a welcoming tone for my visit.
The owner, whose passion for Korean cuisine was evident, took the time to explain the menu, suggesting their signature items and sharing personal recommendations. It was clear that they cared deeply about their customers' satisfaction.
Throughout my visit, the owner frequently checked in to ensure I was enjoying my meal and had everything I needed.
What truly made this cafe stand out was the owner's genuine warmth and dedication to ensuring customers had a memorable experience. It's not just a place for great Korean cuisine; it's a place where you feel like you're a part of a welcoming and hospitable community. I'll definitely be returning soon, not just for the food, but for the exceptional hospitality that makes this cafe truly special.
By the way, Musubi is my favorite! But it is limited because the owner has to do it every morning. Fresh and ready!
Last, Sheryl! I see you in the...
