Free admission and worth the one hour. I learned a great deal about John Brown, who is best remembered for his vigorous opposition to slavery and his doomed raid of Harpers Ferry to further his cause. He was captured during the raid and later executed for instigating it. His tactic might have been controversial but there's no denying the righteousness of his anti-slavery stance.

Awesome way to spend the day wandering around. A decent amount of exhibits were closed but there was still plenty to do. The views were amazing. Definitely bring your walking shoes. The cost is $20 per car which felt like a lot but at the end of the day it is what it is. You park and take the shuttle down to the grounds. I definitely recommend.

They have restrooms on the second floor, very informative museum with interactive displays and short films that explain the history in depth. Not a ton of parking, this museum offers shade and air conditioning. Would visit again 👍

This is the best museum of the park, it contains a lot of info about John Brown, some of his most remarkable quotes, an extensive timeline of his life, three film stops chronicling important phases of his life , the different perspectives about him from other eminent remarkable figures of that time, some of the guns and ammo used in the historic raid and also several images of John Brown at various ages of his life, this is mind blowing and...
