The staff was kind, courteous and knowledgeable. There also had great COVID protocols clearly posted, with additional recorded messages. The store was very neat, clean and well organize. I was looking for information on Xbox Series X and S consoles, controllers and two-way head sets. The staff member was able to verify my new PC was powerful enough for gaming, and was even able to recommend the perfect graphics card for my motherboard and RAM allotment of the top of his head. Truly quite impressive and useful. He was able to outfit me with a customizable Xbox controller that fit my hands perfectly, and also a connected head set that fit over my glasses without pinching my ears. I'm 6' 3", so I have bigger and longer head, that makes finding a head set you can game on all day while wearing glasses very difficult. He was able to recommend the perfect pair and a replacement/ second for guest. I walked out with two premium controls, head set, exchange 2 year all-inclusive warranties with device upgrade options and Game Stop membership with added perks and free money to spend each month for under $330. I can also take the devices to any Game Stop for instant replacement, which is great as I travel a lot with my gaming rig. Money and time happily well spent!...

I poked my head in and asked if I was allowed to come in. The girl at the desk sighed, rolled her eyes, looked at the clock and very snarkily said "You have 30 seconds." You wouldn't even be able to get through the list of questions they ask you at checkout (join membership? protection plan? bla bla bla) in 30 seconds, let alone even make a purchase. I went home and bought the game digitally that I was going to buy in-store.
My girlfriend had an issue with (we believe) the same employee a few weeks ago. She had asked if they had any Pokemon cards behind the desk/in the back and the employee, with the same snarky attitude, told her if it's not on the shelf then they didn't have it. Which is funny because the previous time I was there, I went to buy cards and they literally pulled them out of a drawer behind the desk.
It's a shame that GameStop has become such an unpleasant place to go. I used to really love...
Read morePlaced a same day delivery with them for a PS5 around 12:30p. Received confirmation that it would be delivered by 8p and was charged the $12.99 extra delivery charge for it. Was called at 16:50 and told that due to the “AC going out” that they were closing early at 17:00 so naturally there was no time for me to even go just pick it up (I was told that I couldn’t anyways because of inventory control needing to be notified of the switch so despite me having already paid for the item they would’ve held it until they could update order status on a business day in early afternoon. So I wouldn’t have been able to pick the item up until late tomorrow afternoon when I would need to be at work. Needless to say I opted to cancel the order and will NEVER order or use this store again. I can see why Game Stop is in a downwards spiral and I’ll just stick with Walmart and Amazon...
