Our horrid experience: It was myself, my husband, and our infant son in an infant car seat carrier. Upon arrival I told the hostess that there was 2 of us and a car seat and I specifically asked for a sling... she gave instructions to another girl who took us to a booth. The car seat would not fit in the bench because the tables are stationary and do not move (hence the reason I requested a sling). So then we are led back to the front of the busy restaurant weaving in and out of people while lugging around the car seat. The hostess told the girl to take us to a different table which ended up being an EIGHT TOP right snack dab in the middle of a cramped room surrounded by tables on all sides. As if we were not already the focus of the room being 2 people seated at an 8 top, I had to once again ask for the sling, which the girl grabbed and handed to me in an annoyed fashion. I sat the sling up and poor girl must have thought I said “swing” because that thing was a swaying!! I’ve walked across swinging bridges sturdier than that thing so I was not about to sit my infant son on it. The girl had already disappeared so I had to return the sling to another employee who acted as if I was hassling her as she stood by aimlessly doing nothing. I placed the car seat in the chair beside me and just kept one hand on it throughout the meal. So now we are finally seated and our server comes to our table to ask when the rest of our party will arrive ... sorry honey just us two today. She took our drink orders, returned with our drinks then took our food orders and we never saw her again until she brought the check. I had to ask another server for some bread (which I observed should have been delivered to our table at the time we were seated) and a refill (Which I didn’t get until my food was finished). The food was bland and the food presentation was horrible. We scarfed our food in a hurry because we didn’t want to hold up the large table. We felt (and were treated by staff) as if we were a nuisance because we brought our infant son in his car seat carrier to lunch with us. Horrible experience and will not...
Read moreWell first off I must say that we called in a takeout order and as we got to the restaurant it was quite busy, the young lady that assisted us was very friendly, but she got our order together in the back of the restaurant. This means that she never went through the bag with us to make sure that all of our stuff was included, we've had this issue before in the past but it had seemed to have been resolved and had gotten so much better, bought several of our items when we got home we're not included in the bag. I was going to call and complain as I have done so before in the past, letting the manager know there was nothing that we wanted for free, we just wanted to make sure that what we paid for and had asked for was included in our bag. I have said this before and we'll say it again, there should be a second set of eyes that verifies and checks the bag before it goes out to the customer. Not everyone that's getting takeout lives right next door and has the ability to come back for their items that have been forgotten in the bag. It should be a given that there needs to be a double check of all bags before they go out to make sure that everything that the customer has ordered is surely included in the order. It's not a difficult task and I would assume that anyone that is ordering take-out would want to make sure that all of their items are included when they get home. Please please make this a normal practice that you check all takeout orders and if it is needed a manager or a second set of eyes goes over the receipt and is verify that all items are included in the bag. As well as the quality of the food, two of our orders were the steak tips and some of the pieces of meat were so tough they could not be eaten. There's really not that much meat and when there's pieces that aren't able to be eaten, that is a little upsetting. That on top of the fact that all of the salads that we ordered were not included in the bag, makes you want to never visit your restaurant again. With more options of steakhouses coming to the area, come on Texas Roadhouse, kick...
Read moreThe atmosphere was really nice. The waiter was attentive and really friendly. As far as the food goes I would have to say it was a struggle. I don't ever complain about food due to the fact I know how it is to work in kitchens and things happen. But I must say the food was so salty I had to push the plate away. I had the 12 oz ribeye and half rack of ribs with baked potatoes and Mac and cheese. I ate a piece of steak and all I could taste was salt. I figured maybe that piece just got a little extra by accident so I cut another smaller piece, realizing it was just as salty. I cut another smaller piece from a different side of the steak and quickly realized that it wasn't getting any better. As far as the Mac and cheese goes, the first two bite were phenomenal. But on you get through the top layer of cheese all you got was macaroni. There was no cheese throughout the cup of Mac and cheese. The baked potatoes was definitely different when it was brought to the table. It looked like the potatoes was rolled in coarse salt before they opened it. But that wasn't the part that got me. I took a bite of the potatoes with sour cream, cheese, and bacon and tasted nothing but salt once again. So figuring it may be the bacon I pushed it to the side only scooping a bite of potatoes and still tasted nothing but salt. Is it standard to use so much salt? It tasted like the cook not only rolled the potatoes in salt but put salt inside the potatoes. To be quite honest the only good part of the dish was the sauce on the ribs because the ribs were so dry, you needed the sauce just to eat it. I will say I am very disappointed because I was looking forward to the...
