I like staples, for years I have been buying from staples, always I got what I need for my business. Very clean store, well trained employees, nice, but I had a really bad experience on June the 28th this year; the night before June the 27th my house burned down we were devastated, tire, sad even confused but life has to go on. June the 28th my husband and I went to staples to use the rental computer staples has to send an email and to print documents for and to my insurance, for our situation we did not put attention on the time , unfortunately it was the time to close the store but we got into the store when the store was open. Once I sat down in the chair logged into the staples system and logged into my email a girl came to me and told me very nice, it is five minutes before we close, I said “I’m sorry I did not put attention in the time , but please let me send this email to my insurance and print out and we’ll leave” she said but is time I said “ I know you just told me but you know what last night my house burned down and I really need to do this please five minutes “ she just walked away, then I needed a pen to write down something I asked to another worker that my understanding is the manager of that shift, I asked him if he could borrow me a pen and he literally threw me the pen over the desk he was at , with a very rude and aggressive attitude, I just took the pen and put back in his pen holder and I said thank you. My husband thought I need help with something different and asked the same person help and he was walking in front of us and with his aggressive attitude answered the store is closed I can’t help you, my husband said what is going on, I said let’s go they’re angry because is time to close the store and I understand they want to go home. I cried because my emotions were sensitive due to what we were...

It used to be that every time I went in there and went through the checkout line I received a thank you as I left. Occasionally they were half hearted depending on the person but it was said nevertheless. Now the last three times I have been in there, I have not been thanked. The "gentleman" last week barely spoke at all to me (he was too busy talking to his co-workers), much less thank me, and the guy today was more friendly, but I still didn't receive a thank you. Is customer service not important to anyone but me anymore? How about plain old friendliness? Oh, and today I bought a printer. Did anyone ask if I needed help getting it to my car (I'm in my late 60's)? NO,...
