many people don't seem to know this but you can actually go to this building and the general assembly every morning of the week day even if you're just a member of the general public in Connecticut, and speak on issues that matter to you. Get there around 5:30 or 6 in the morning and look at the daily schedule see what's on it that you may wish to listen to or contribute regarding. You can make a difference and to all those who complain that government just goes one way that they don't want it to a lot of that has to do with the fact that only certain people or classes of people go very often to speak out on issues and bills with in Connecticut laws they wished to influence.
