If I could rate this store on a scale of 0 I will because they have the worst customer service! I was recently at the party city and purchased balloons from here and the lady that helped me out told me that they were going to last a long time with a solution they add to them! As I get to my event they were all deflated and I called party city for a refund and the same person helped me out! It took them forever to answer the phone and by the time it was picked up, it was the same person; Her name was Ivette and she began to give attitude and I was really shocked by party city customer service! If I was the manager at this store I would be embarrassed Because I am a manager myself and I know that the customer is always right! You would think that everyone would be helpful during this pandemic but apparently not! Also on the door they did have a sign that "MASK WERE REQUIRED" when only the cashier had a mask while the other employees didn't. I would never give my money back to this store again ( Would not even recommend) Like why reopen your doors if the only thing your employees do is give bad customer service? I honestly do not know how they have TWO stars when they should have NO stars...
Read moreI went in the other day. I spent $80 dollars in there. Our party was cancelled due to rain so I went back into the store to return the things I bought. I thought the receipt was in the bag, it wasn't. Sadly they would not return the things I purchased with out proof. I tried to show them my debit card history of proof & use my card to make the return but they said they can't do it that way which is so ridiculous. It's 2018 you would think their system would be updated enough to look up a transaction through a card. My job and almost every store I go to has this option. The employee then told me they might be able to look up the receipt but the employee next to him said we can only do that for certain reasons. I find that odd. Why are they picking and choosing who they find receipts for? They should be able to help every one. He then says nevermind we can't look it up. I asked was there anything they can do for me & he said they can do an exchange but I have to use all the money today. Read moreJust a small comment a balloon I purchased for my granddaughter when I pulled price tag off it broke the part that holds the air, unbeknown to me. I took it back and the sales girl would not allow me to exchange it. Grant you it was only 2.50 and it’s not the money it’s the principle! Come on Party City can definitely afford 2.50 as I can as well but to keep a customer happy should be top priority. She was a bit rude about it like I did it on purpose. At first I wasn’t going to get anything then I thought forget her I’m doing this for my granddaughter so I got another balloon and that’s because they didn’t have anymore of what I had originally purchased. I like Party City, not sure if this was a policy or just the sales person??
