DO NOT GO HERE FOR A PIERCING! I wouldn’t wish the experience I had here (with the owner) on my WORST enemy!!! (I have a witness) She was unprofessional, disorganized, non-empathetic, zero manners and the facility was unsanitary (they had a Golden Retriever puppy in the piercing and tatoo area). I read the reply of the owner and she COMPLETELY missed the mark and ATTEMPTED TO PUT THE BLAME ON THE CUSTOMER which is VERY unprofessional!!! So I will elaborate about my experience… I did in fact go in with a swollen piercing to get a longer post in the same gauge to make room for the swelling (after following all the proper after care instructions. I NEVER swam or sunbathed and used the saline recommended 3 times a day). The owner took out my piercing WITHOUT checking first to see if she had the proper piece of jewelry to replace it with and did not use a taper to keep the swollen piercing open!… she THEN realized she did NOT have the jewelry she needed in the correct gauge so she proceeded to try to force a curved bar in a straight, swollen hole, and it was a silver ball and not a diamond stud (like the other side) and she told me “to deal with it”. Then, when I was crying on her table as she was trying to shove a piece of jewelry in my ear that clearly would not fit, she snapped at me and said in an impatient tone “can you move your shoulder down so that I can do my job!” So rude! No empathy. Other employees were popping their heads in to see who was crying and why. It was me, it was THAT painful!! (And I have a high pain tolerance) She finally found something longer but in a smaller gauge than I had wanted, but at that point I would take whatever would work. She should have known her inventory before taking out my piercing!!! I did mention to her that I felt like I was going to pass out and she offered me a coke. I asked her if she had juice as I do not drink soda of any kind. I never mentioned my service dog in the review nor brought him with me to the second visit. (During the initial piercing he came with me but stayed outside of the piercing and tattoo area) The Golden Retriever puppy licked my 18 year old daughters arm as she sat in the piercing room with me! My tattoo is fine! Not that it is any of the public’s business because I did not get it there or mention it in my review, I just happened to be allergic to one color. It healed just fine. I find it incredibly offensive for the owner to share my personal medical history online or my travel plans as both of those are personal and private! With her bad attitude, and being the owner, I do not foresee her business thriving. Once you meet her… that is enough! UPDATE…. The owners reply and update are not accurate…. I DID NOT BRING MY MEDICAL ALERT SERVICE DOG WITH ME to this appointment and when I did bring him for the initial piercing, I had him wait in the lobby as I understand that dogs are not hygienic to be in a piercing booth! My daughter drove me instead. Also, I did not swim or sunbath! I am a swimmer and I do swim and that is what my daughter was referring to but because I had a fresh tattoo and two piercings I knew to take a few months off! You can see by the owner’s lengthy rebuttal to and blame shamming of MY EXPERIENCE how she...
Read moreWish i could give negative stars. My partner went in less then 24 hrs ago booked an appt paid 200$ deposit for 400$ worth of tattoos wanted a 3 inch flower and bee called john the "artist" 2 hours later said her daughter already booked an appt in charlotte with out her knowing. She was told come in today to talk about it. She asked john for a refund he claimed paypal charged him 20$ for instant transfer and he would charge her 100 for canceling. So 80 returned. He showed her a drawing of a probably 9 inch flower and bee wayyy over what she asked for. I explained to make everyone happy id get a 200$ tattoo by him and give her 200 cash to go where her daughter sxheduled. He was saying i was asking for a free tatoo got extremly hostile saying i could hire an attorney over this but it wouldnt do any good. as i explained he was overreacting and i just wanted him to give us the 100 dollar refund so we could leave him argueing and another lady getting involved took over 10 min for him to process a 100$ return. He could of given me or her a different tattoo at the 200 $ rate and loose no business. He wanted 800$ for 2 tattoos 3 inches tall with a bee. 400 a piece which was not discussed prior it was 400!. He was rude extremly unproffessional, money hungry and disrespectful. I understand a fee to cancel ir reschedule but 100$ after 2 hours a little ridiculous. The shop is in a garage with childrens art work on walls and the enviroment is just off putting. She shpuld of known both times visiting with no customers getting work done and already bad reviews. Beside why would a succesful business owner and artist as he states be so hard for cash he had to make an immediate transfer to get the 200 she paid costing him 20$. All seems sketchy and unproffessional to me. Highly recommend going to a friends garage...
Read moreI want to give great appreciation and applause to two of the most incredibly loving individuals I have ever had the experience of working with. Two people who love what they do but also who they do it for. It’s not about just creating art for Natalie and Noah , it’s about how the art adds to the person they are creating it for. Every appointment they take seriously and professional. Providing skill and expertise infused with passion, they understand that the person who sought them out also took hours and hours to decided and finally choose what spoke to them in that moment of there life. They care for their clients like a beautiful canvas, considering every detail, and thought of that individual. I have had many appointments with both of them at different times and separately, and I can speak to there character and professional qualities. I recommend them every chance I get because I know that the people i refer will be cared for and heard. They will be seen and treated with all the care that I did. Natalie and Noah both carry themselves with a genuine attitude, sharing honest feedback and always offering truth in the placement and design of the clients desired piece. Price is always discussed and disclosed upfront before setting an appointment and time is recorded. I have never had to second guess what I am walking into and I thrive on that security. This studio is honored and blessed to house these two...
