My husband, son and I visited Hendersonville for my 30th birthday! The Appalachian Pinball Museum ended up being our favorite stop! They truly made our evening memorable! I wish I had gotten the two gentlemen's names that helped us out. They were extremely kind, helpful, and personable! Thanks again guys! Rest assured when you visit the Appalachian Pinball Museum, you will receive fantastic friendly service and find a wide variety of pinball machines and games to play for hours! $12 per person to play all day! Well worth the money!! We went later at night around 7pm and the time flew by! "Time flies when you're having fun!" And we sure did! We went on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait to play any of the machines. They also have a variety beer options, I got the Sweet Water Georgia Golden Isles Peach Tea! I enjoyed it, and got a 2nd one later. One of the kind gentlemen informed me that they just got apporved for their wine/cider license, so they have more options coming soon! Overall we had an outstanding experience! If you find yourself in the Hendersonville area, this is a MUST STOP! Family/kid/adult/EVERYONE FRIENDLY! Rating this spot E for Everyone! We had such a good time. Don't miss out, if you're thinking of hitting up a pinball arcade, or just looking for something fun to do, GO HERE! Thanks again to everyone at Appalachian Pinball Museum and we hope to...
Read moreGreat place to play some pins and arcade games from through out time. Nice collection of Electro mechanicals, solid states, and digital machines. There is a section that is display only for some of the REALLY old electro mechanicals. On top of most of the machines you will find fact cards that give you some interesting info on the game you are playing! Handful of arcade games as well. Everything is set up in areas, which are about 5 total. 3 downstairs and 2 upstairs. You have two pinball areas, two arcade areas, and a display area as you walk in. The only cons to the place are the upstairs area is very dark, which makes some of the pins hard to see. The layout is can be confusing because you DO have to pay for a wristband to play, but you pass entrances with no doors to all areas before you find the pay window. All games are on free play mode after that, except for Wizard of Oz which is 0.50 a play. There are snacks, drinks, alcoholic drinks, and apparel for purchase. Staff has always been very friendly. I've been there twice as of this review and don't plan...
Read moreHad the chance to stop by here yesterday, and it's a really cool place. It's $12 to play all day, and everything is on free play, so no quarter drop. There's a good mix of pinball and video game cabinets, but I was there for the pinball, so can't really speak to the video game cabinets. The vast majority of the pins were in good working order and played well. There were a few that had some minor issues, and a few that were leaning, but you'll get that anywhere that has a lot of tables. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and knowledgeable. They even pulled the Dracula playfield up when they were looking at it so I could look at the underside of the table. I've only seen the underside of Sterns, and seeing how the mist multiball mech looked like underneath was really cool. There's a good bit of concession options and they have a good beer selection as well. Highly recommend stopping by here if you're in the area or traveling up 26...
