Came by here while on my vacation. Walked in, and the workers were at the check out desk and just stared at us. I smiled, nobody smiled back. Literally gave us the dirtiest look possible! Whatever, it’s fine. I walk a few feet and another couple walks in behind us and I hear the cheerful voices of the workers go: “Welcome in guys! You ever been here before? Well-“ Blah blah blah. EXCUSE ME? It may be a minor detail to others but this offended the heck out of me! They looked at me like I was a roach on the floor but acted like God himself walked in to every other customer that came by because I could hear their agonizingly cheerful voices! I’ve never been there before but was treated like garbage the second I walked in?? I wasn’t dressed bad either. Cute outfit and nice purse, so I didn’t think I looked poor but maybe they thought I was and only cater to people they think has money. Even when we left, they said “Have a great day come back to see us!” To everyone BUT us. No clue why we got that sort of treatment but whatever. This must be the place Stephen King wrote about! I won’t be back, and I’ll sure as heck tell everyone I know not to come here either. Edit in response to owner: By all means check the cameras, I wouldn’t go out of my way to type this long review and lie on...
Read moreThey will turn the lights out in the building 10-15 minutes before close to let you know it’s time to get out, while you’re still shopping, resulting in an incredibly unsafe environment riddled with tripping hazards (including navigating down a pitch black staircase). A closing announcement is enough, there is no need to create a lawsuit for yourselves.
Edit to reply to owners response: the fact that you completely ignored the valid concern I brought to your attention and instead made emotionally charged subjective claims that had nothing to do with this review tells me all I need to know about you. You have the day you deserve.
2nd edit: now you are completely making up lies. I have never emailed anyone there about anything. I’m sure the culture you are promoting involves turning the lights out on people before 10 minutes before you close so it’s no surprise you would have someone else complain. It is DANGEROUS. Not to mention unprofessional. You can roll back your little surveillance cameras but you already know that’s how you operate. Also, plot twist, I have the whole thing recorded complete with a timestamp. Ever heard of TikTok? That stunt and your replies to sincere online critiques are about to make you famous, much more than you arrogantly think you...
Read moreWe stopped here on a whim driving towards Georgia from Knoxville. It is super easy to find when you get off at the exit. When we got inside the first thing I noticed was there were no carts or baskets to carry your purchases. So, I set out knowing my purchases would be limited to what I could carry or I would have to walk up to the desk and drop off my purchases and find my way back to where I left off. The building is huge and filled with all kinds of twists and turns. I felt like I was missing things and constantly getting turned around. There sign that attracted me said over 200 vendors; however, what I notice were many of the spaces were occupied by the same vendors so there may have been 200 spaces but not 200 vendors. I felt like there was something for everyone to appreciate. Unfortunately, many of the items are huge expensive items for serious collectors and not cute moderately priced nickknacks for the casual vintage collector. I may go back when I had more time to dig deeper and see the booths I am...
