Day or Night we always enjoy the views here at Pier C Park.
In the morning, especially on a nice bright day, the view of NYC is so scenic. The park is fairly well kept and clean. There is a little play area for the kiddos but otherwise its really mostly a place to sight-see or just spend some time taking in the view. At night, you get an amazing sight as well! The city lights are absolutely beautiful! Been here couple of times and never get tired of the view and the place in general.
Im not sure if food is allowed here as well as dogs. There is a "Park Rules" list by the entrance but some have been plastered with stickers (idk why people do this).
There're fishing spots and a place for you to clean your catch, there's plenty of sitting areas and you can stay by the grass as well. Just please dont litter.
Ive seen love locks starting to pop up in the rails. Honestly it looks cute and cool but I prefer this does NOT become a fad. I dont know if most people realize but the more locks people put, the easier the structure begins to deteriorate. Imagine thousands of locks in one area, it will weight down Pier C with risk of it collapsing.
So if youre ever tempted to put a love lock here (or anywhere for that matter) please reconsider and help Hoboken preserve this beautiful place for...

A quote from one of my favorite books echoed between my ears: “I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York's skyline…The sky over New York and the will of man made visible. What other religion do we need?”
I tend to agree. I just sat here for a bit, smelling the roses for the first time in a while. How lucky am I to just sit here and be able to look at this? The will of man made visible.
SHOUT OUT TO PIER C PARK!

The park is pretty compact with a little bit of good for everyone — a very engaging children’s play area, a lawn for sunbathing or lounging with a good book or just just vegging out. It’s overwater placement puts you really right IN the Hudson. It also has platform for fishing sports.
Recently the point where the pier reaches farthest into the Hudson has now become a petit Pont des Art for love locks — drawing from the French attraction and the fact the beauty of this pier lends well for engagement and wedding photos, lovestruck couples are now practicing the art of leaving their own love locks on the railings; and I assume keys thrown...
