The Riverside Boardwalk is an absolutely fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful walk or jog with stunning views of Manhattan. This boardwalk is built and maintained exceptionally well, and it’s always clean and inviting. It’s not overcrowded, which makes it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
One of the best things about this boardwalk is the breathtaking view of Manhattan. Whether you’re walking, jogging, or just relaxing, you’re treated to a spectacular vista of the skyline, especially at sunset when the city lights start to shine. It’s a photographer’s dream, with endless opportunities to capture the beauty of both the river and the city in the background.
The boardwalk offers ample space for long walks and jogging, making it ideal for fitness enthusiasts or those who simply want to take in the scenery. The path is wide and well-maintained, so you can move freely without feeling cramped. There are also benches along the way, allowing you to take a break and enjoy the view at your leisure.
What I particularly appreciate is how peaceful and serene it is. Unlike other tourist-heavy spots, this boardwalk feels calm and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, the Riverside Boardwalk is a must-see and offers a beautiful, less-crowded alternative to the usual city attractions. Read moreA picturesque riverside broadwalk, probably the place to see the best Manhattan view from the other bank of Hudson, situated at Hoboken. There’s ample space for walk and jogging, a vast green grassland to spend leisure time. The sunset view is just cherry on the cake. Getting roadside parking is difficult but it’s only 0.75$ per hour. There are multilevel parking garage too, probably a little costlier. The boardwalk is clean and well maintained. It’s not overcrowded too, a perfect escape from the city noise. However, From another review, I came to know that there is a public restriom behind the Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) resturant. There are plenty of food trucks and restaurants. So, no worry on food. Reach there in a lazy afternoon and...
Read moreI visited the Hoboken waterfront on a weekday evening, right after picking up dinner from a nearby food cart. I decided to take a stroll before eating — and I’m so glad I did.
The view was absolutely stunning. The Manhattan skyline stretched out in front of me, bathed in the golden hour light, with a gentle breeze coming off the river. Lush greenery lined the walkway, and the entire area had such a peaceful, relaxed vibe. People were jogging, walking their dogs, or just unwinding with friends — it felt like the perfect little city escape.
There are plenty of benches and seating spots along the path, so I found a cozy spot, sat down, and enjoyed my quick dinner while soaking in the view. Honestly, it turned out to be one of those unexpectedly perfect moments.
If you’re in the area, definitely carve out some time to slow down and enjoy the waterfront —...
