Massage from Heaven Spa — Attraction in Hollywood

My wife and I had a layover in Florida after we debarked our cruise ship in Miami. Our flight back to Chicago departed Fort Lauderdale at 9:00pm. So what were we going to do with all our luggage after a long cruise? We decided to leave Miami as we had already spent some time there prior to our cruise and we really wanted to get massages. My wife found Massage From Heaven and was able to book a 12:30 couples massage for a very reasonable price. We got a lyft and headed up to Hollywood. When we arrived, I had planned to check us into a nearby beach club where I thought we could set up for the day and relax after our massages. But the beach club was deserted, no manager anywhere and no answer when I called the service line. Without many options my wife suggested we just walk to Massage From Heaven and see if they might be able to accommodate us early.

When we arrived we were greeted with exceptional warmth and kindness. And although we couldn't push forward our massage, Petrina suggested we go and relax in their calming room and make full use of the facilities, and calming room. This calming room was serene, featuring comfy recliners, soft light, warm blankets, and the most peaceful therapeutic music. The hospitality and customer service was spectacular. After about an hour and a half of relaxing Nadia greeted us and said they would be ready for our massage shortly. Now for the massage: this was hands down the greatest massage my wife or I have ever received. Nadia and Petrina worked their magic on us and provided the most sensational deep tissue massage coupled with a very relaxing touch. We finished feeling completely rejuvenated, but we still had about five hours before we needed to check into the airport. Nadia was so accommodating and offered to store our large suitcase other bags so we could go get lunch and take advantage of the beach. After she gave us an outstanding recommendation for lunch she essentially told us "this is your home for today and whenever you're ready you can come back and get your things, even if you don't see one of the staff, just come in and collect your things." This open-hearted generosity was the icing on an already delicious cake. I cannot express the gratitude we felt at that moment but needless to say without Nadia we would have had a very different experience in Hollywood that day.

I don't know when my wife and I will be back in south Florida. Hopefully soon, as Chicago winters can be... challenging... at times. However, what I do know for sure is that whenever we plan on heading back down to Florida's Gold Coast, we will undoubtedly plan a visit to see Nadia, Petrina and all others working at Massage From Heaven. Had a fantastic 90 minute Moroccan massage today. Was able to book last minute, about two hours prior and they had no problem accommodating me (much to my relief). I wasn’t sure what a Moroccan massage entailed but based on the other reviews, people seemed to like it.

The entrance is on the corner and the parking is in the back (look for the MFH signs on the right as you pull in). I was immediately welcomed in and asked if I needed to use the restroom, which is always appreciated prior to a long massage. They also have lockers in case you want to secure your items but I just left my purse next to my massage bed in the room.

I was brought through what looked like a relaxation room back to my room (the building was bigger than I thought - looked like at least eight or ten rooms), which was dimly lit and immediately relaxing. My masseuse then came in after I was ready and proceeded to transport me to relaxation station.

I’d describe Moroccan massage as a full body cross between Swedish and Thai, in that they do some stretching/joint movement/muscle isolation like Thai but you’re not wearing clothes, you’re on a massage table, and they use oil like Swedish. She also started with a nice head massage which I wish more places did. Best of both worlds in my opinion.

I almost fell asleep multiple times and they play nice music at an appropriate level. Minimal sound transfer from other rooms and everything seemed clean and maintained the “spa aura”.

The only feedback I’d offer is to provide a hook/small stool to put your clothes or belongings on. Also my masseuse didn’t ask about anything ahead of starting (injuries or target areas) so make sure to speak up if you have any needs.

Lastly, they use rose scented oil which I didn’t mind but if you are averse maybe ask if they have an alternative.

Pricing is pretty standard for US cities, but again it’s one of the best massages I’ve had so worth it...

I'm a Massage Therapist of 20+ years and have traveled quite a bit looking for the perfect massage that incorporates balancing the body. I made an appt for the Royal Hammam not knowing what all i was going to get, What I got EXCEEDED my expectations by a LANDSLIDE. I was first whisked away into the shower room where I was laid out in a warm, steam filled room where I was pampered with just water and a olive soap, where I then was led to the sauna/steam room with olive soap still on me for 15 minutes with a water bottle and towel for my face, I could feel my pores openeing. Then I was taken back to wash room, where I was completely PAMPERED LITERAL HEAD TO TOE. I was first rinsed of the olive soap and rubbed down lightly, then I had some other serum lathered on my body, then they took a specopening. And rubbed me down head to toe and removed so much dead skin(Which i exfoliate daily and couldn't belive what they got off me), I was then rinsed again, THEN THE BEST PART. I was washed head to toe, hair included. After I dried, I was then taken to a lounge where I was given a snack and some Beautiful tea. Then I was taken to my massage room, where again I was BLESSED by my therapists beautiful hands and techniques. I then had the top 3 of the most amazing massages I have EVER had. After my massage I got their top Facial and again was beyond Blessed with massages and being pampered. As I said I'm a Massage Therapist of 20+ years and have had well over 400+ massages myself. This was TOP TIER. I have never felt so relaxed and Amazing after a spa treatment. The oils and soaps they use are top notch quality and my skin feels, looks and smells amazing still the next day. If you are thinking about going, Please Don't think, GO. YOU DESERVE TO FEEL THIS PAMPERED...
