Read moreI had high hopes for this place. I love breweries and supporting local places. It pains me to give a place anything lower than a 3 start, but this place made me feel unwelcome and the prices were not reasonable for the product. I went there with a group of friends. We waited 15 min for someone to acknowledge us. The waitress came over and tossed the menus on the table. No big deal, everyone has bad days. We asked her a few questions about the beers. She gave 3 word responded and sounded like it was a bother to her. I asked if we could have a beer menu. She took at least 3 mins to bring back one menu for 7 people. I asked if we could have another beer menu, she flat out said, "no." My friend ordered the potato skins. They took 30mins to come out. Other people that ordered food after us, were served their food. When we got the potato skins, they were dry, stale and tasted like they came from the freezer. The cheese on top looked as though it sat under a heat lamp and dried out. The bill came and we left. The prices are high and service was horrible. I understand I'm on the beach, but if I'm paying beach prices, I should get decent service and food. I will say their saving grace was the beer. It was good and I would buy it in another bar. This is not a place I would go visit, even if I was given a gift certificate. I would call some of the local bars and see if they offer their...
Read morePlace was fairly empty when we visited on a Saturday night. Unfortunately, this was not an indication of how quick the service would be. It took forever to get drink orders in, and even longer for a couple of appetizers to come out.
Wait time aside, my big problem with this place are their menu descriptions. While their "avocado egg rolls" list in detail all the included ingredients: "avocados, cream cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, red onions, cilantro, chipotle pepper & spices,' their "guacamole" simply states: "fresh seasoned avocados served with tortilla chips." Now, there are a number of ways to make guacamole, but by that description I think most people would assume you'd be getting a fairly plain mix of ingredients, aka "spices." What I was brought was a bowl full of onions with a side of avocados. It was too hard to pick around so I had to send it back. After watching my friend finish his meal, my remade dish was finally brought back, this time containing a large amount of peppers and cilantro. I was beyond frustrated. I told the waitress that the menu description did not match what I was brought, and while she apologized, she did not offer to take it off the bill. I picked around it for a bit until I finally gave up.
All this to say, fix your menu. If you can be extremely detailed on some items, it should be that way...
