One of the most beloved features of the Hollywood Broadwalk is the Hollywood Beach Theatre. This oceanside performance stage was built by Hollywood founder and real estate developer Joseph Young in 1924. Young built a three-sided band shell in a frame vernacular style to provide free entertainment for visitors. Back then it was called the Theater under the Stars.

The Hollywood Beach Theatre is the perfect place for an inexpensive date night or family...
Read moreLove, Love, Love this outdoor theater. What a great place to sit and enjoy some entertainment on the boardwalk. I feel it's gotten better ever since Margaritaville opened up right across. They had some amazing performances and live bands on Christmas - New Years weekend. When we went, they had an outdoor bar (CASH ONLY), make sure you have it ahead of time or you'll have to go inside to the ATM and pay a $4.00 fee. If not, they have other little places near by where you can grab a drink or beer for cheap. The theater is facing West, so as you're watching the performances you're also looking towards the beach. It's a great place for some fun with family,...

This is not surprising given that the venue is sponsored by Margaritaville, which pays the bands. I will say that the production quality and sound remains...
