Wayne County Library — Attraction in Honesdale

Nice library and a wonderful local asset in a charming old building, but the loudest library I've ever been to on more than one occasion... and the people talking in full voice are often behind the desk! Being friendly and chatting with customers is wonderful. People talking so loudly for long periods that you can hear every word being said from across the library is not sensible.

In that mission day in and day out, unheaded buy pressure to be a commercial enterprise, only to be there for those who seek the pleasures of reading. We come from France and often spend the summer in Honesdale. We have discovered the wonderful library on Main Street a long time ago. Impossible to do without it now!!. The staff are friendly, efficient, and always available to help or suggest new ideas.
