Nice library and a wonderful local asset in a charming old building, but the loudest library I've ever been to on more than one occasion... and the people talking in full voice are often behind the desk! Being friendly and chatting with customers is wonderful. People talking so loudly for long periods that you can hear every word being said from across the library is not sensible.
